A Fifth Member?

*Aoi R. has joined the chatroom*

Aoi R.:I heard that we're going to have another member joining us. Is this true?

*Shiromi T. has joined the chatroom*

*Kuroko K. has joined the chatroom*

Kuroko K.:I've said it before, nothing has been decided yet, but the chances are very high.

Shiromi T.:Is that a yes?

Kuroko K.:No, it's a probably.

*Akane T. has joined the chatroom*

Kuroko K.:I have contacted Megami and I'm waiting on her response.

Aoi R.:I see.

Akane T.:I've been wondering, how does the whole process work?

Kuroko K.:Well, usually, the student council president, in our case Megami, would have to look through all the student profiles. Next, she'll have to pick out the student with the highest grades, perfect attendance record and a very good social behavior.

Kuroko K.:After that, she'll have to approach the student and ask them whether they have interest in becoming a part of the student council. If they decline, she'd have to look for another student. If they accept, they'll have to go through an interview, to see if the student can meet the requirements in order to join the student council.

Shiromi T.:Seems like being the president doesn't mean you'd be only giving orders that's for sure.

Kuroko K.:As I'm sure you all know for the last part, there will be a conference with the rest of the members of the student council where they can discuss and give their approval.

Shiromi T.:Wait, so what if one of the members doesn't approve?

Kuroko K.:They simply have to state the reason why they wouldn't approve.

Akane T.:My, it does sound like a long process.

Kuroko K.:In the past, the process used to be way more complex, luckily, it's been simplified.
