I got off the bus last to see Charlie in his ripped jeans and old looking white tee shirt waving at me.

"Hey Ivy!"

I rushed over to him so he would stop making people stare.

"I am the first house on the lake. It's not a far walk from here."

He was right. It was just down the road.

He walked up to a dark blue house with a red door and pulled out a key.

When the door opened a adorable little dog ran up to charlie and gave him a big kiss. He got down on his knee so the dog could climb up him for a better hello.

"Hello Brady! Did you miss me! I sure did miss you!"

I smiled.

"Brady meet Ivy; Ivy meet Brady!"

"Hi boy!" I said while Charlie put him in my lap.

"He is a cavalier king charles spaniel."

"He is super cute."

"Thanks. We better get to work."
