Broken Promise ||ONE-SHOT||

"Obito, you're a loser. I have skills, power, the love of your life and a sword. How about you, huh?" That was Kakashi; Obito was eventually fighting with him. Again. 

"GAHH, I CAN'T STAND SEEING YOU SO PERFECT! YOU'RE THE LOSER, KAKASHI!!" Obito snapped at him.

"Now, now, Obito, Kakashi. Stop fighting." 

The two rivals turned to look and saw their teammate, Rin Nohara. Rin was a young girl of average height. She had brown hair, which was cut in a chin-length bob that framed her face, and brown eyes. She also had a rectangular purple marking on either sides of her cheeks. She wore a long-sleeved black top and a light purple apron-skirt, under which she wore black shorts. She also wore the standard Konoha forehead protector, along with a pair of sandals, red stockings that stopped at her thighs, and a small, red bracelet on her left wrist. 

Meanwhile, Kakashi Hatake wore a simple black outfit with the lower-half of his face concealed. He also wore a scarf with a simple design running along its length to the entrance ceremony, which he would later swap out for a plain, green one. As a genin, he wore another simple black outfit along with an open-front apron around his waist and fish-net armour around his ankles. During his early missions as a jōnin, he wore a black t-shirt with white stripes in the middle of the sleeves. On his arms he wears black sleeves with metal arm protectors over them. 

Lastly, Obito Uchiha had short, spiky, black hair and black eyes. He wore a long sleeved blue uniform with metal plating on the part that reached the back of his hands, as well as a blue jacket with an orange collar and trimmings. The jacket was fastened to the rest of the outfit by two buttons on the collar, and has the Uchiha clan crest at the back. He also wore a white belt, shinobi sandals, the standard Konoha dark blue forehead protector, and a pair of goggles with orange lens connected to ear protectors. 

"HE STARTED IT, RIN!" Obito yelled. 

"It doesn't matter who started it, it just matters how you end it. Now please, stop yelling at each other." Rin smiled sweetly. Rin has always been the peacemaker at their team.

"Rin's right, Kakashi, Obito. You're teammates, so no fighting, okay?" Minato Namikaze, their teacher, lectured again. 

"Hai, Minato-sensei." the two rivals answered boringly.

"No need to feel so boring, we have a new mission, team! And not just that, since Kakashi is a jonin, he will be the leader, alrighty?" Minato exclaimed happily. 

"Really, Minato-sensei?! YAY! And yes, I'm sure Kakashi will be a nice leader!" Rin jumped in excitement; It's been a while since they went out for a mission, it's gotten pretty boring at Konohagakure. 

"Yes, but our mission is a little dangerous, so keep a sharp eye, okay?" Minato noted. "I'll see you back here at the training grounds within thirty minutes. Pack your things, guys." 

"Pft, Kakashi is a jonin, how did that happen?!" Obito questioned.

"Ehehehe." Minato just giggled. 

Kakashi, Rin and Obito nodded then went back to their own houses. Right after thirty minutes, they went back and was now leading to the gates of Konoha. 

"Ready, guys?" Minato asked. 

"Hai!" Rin exclaimed. Kakashi just nodded. While....

"OH YES, OF COURSE, SENSEI. YAAAY! MISSION!! WOOOOH!" Obito acted like a real dork. Obito has always been like that. Always. 

Minato sweatdropped at Obito's reaction. "O-Okay, l-let's go!" The third shinobi world war was held that time.They're off to Kusagakure to destroy Kannabi Bridge to cut off supplies for Iwagakure ninja.
