Chapter 1:The Dream

It's the day I've been waiting for the past years since I entered the new chapter of my life. I thought I wouldn't be attending this kind of celebration but after all I could be missing the half of my senior high life. I was a bit worry for the past days. I still haven't choose my partner for the upcoming prom and the worst part is I'm attending the prom without any partner I mean alone. But now the moment I've been waiting for has arrived. With or without an escort I promised myself that this would be one of my happiest day in my life. As I enter the ballroom people suddenly stop, they were shocked looking at me. I walked slowly to the punch station to grab a drink. The motive of the party is masquerade so everybody is expected to wear a mask. I was about to grab a drink when some one holds my right hand 

" Excuse me miss but, may I have your first dance?" the man who is wearing a black tuxedo said while offering bis right hand to me. I accepted his offer for a dance and the next thing happened was were dancing happily on the dance floor. We enjoy each others company. The clock strikes 12 midnight and it was time for me to bid farewell to the mysterious man. I was about to say goodbye when he suddenly gave me a necklace. It was a gold colored heart design with a lock. At first I was so shy to accept it but he force me to or else he won't take off his mask. I was so curious about the true identity behind his mask so I greatly accept his gift. He gave me the honor to unmask him and I've suddenly noticed that he has a pierce on his left ear. Before I take off his mask he suddenly lean in for a hug and said

" No matter what happen please accept me by all your heart. And don't forget  these words I LOVE YOU." I was shocked by by what he said he suddenly take off his mask. I felt excitement while he was doing it my heart keeps on beating faster than a bullet train I was about to see his true identity when someone shrugged me heavily.

" Sophia wake up" a familiar voice said. I tried opening my eyes but i saw a blur reflection of a brunette lady shaking me. "Honey, wake up you'll be late for school" I was shocked by what she said so I hurriedly got up and said. " Mom you have just ruined my dream. I was having the most amazing dream when suddenly you ruined it all." "Dancing with your prince on your prom day sweetie?" Mom's asked. "Yes". "He was wearing a mask which match his black tuxedo doesn't he?" :Yes" I said.  " Honey its been your 10th time dreaming the same thing. Dancing with your prince wearing a black tuxedo. When will be this put to an end?" "But Mom its different this time he has a pierce on his left ear. And most of all he's gonna unfold his mask when you suddenly get in the picture." I blurted out. " Okay fine I'm sorry sweetie but it isn't the fact that you have only 30 minutes to prepare for school or else you'll be late and 15 minutes to go before the bus will fetch you up I wouldn't be waking you up" Mom smiled. 

" Oh My Gosh! I'm late for school. How many minutes were left Mom?" "Well 32 minutes to go. " I hurriedly went to the bathroom to take a bath. In less than 7 minutes I've finished all my routine for the morning. I quickly ran downstairs to eat my breakfast. Sunny side up egg, hotdog.bacon with a rice. I usually eat rice cause I'm an Asian. Half Filipino Half British. It's the staple food in the Philippines so that's why I eat rice jut like my Mom. In 3 minutes I've finished eating eating my breakfast. I ran as fast as I could to go to my room to gargle and to get my bag. 

I look myself in the big mirror in my room I was wearing a black sleeve with jeans. " You're such a mess Sophia." I said to myself and immediately went down. "Bye Mom I have to go!" " Bye Sweetie don't forget to grab some veggies in the grocery after school.okay?" Mom said while winking his right eye. " Okay Mom" and went outside the apartment. I was waiting for the bus to arrived when I've noticed that someone is moving in the neighborhood apartment. They must be a family I said to myself and suddenly the bus have arrived  so I get in.

The whole school day is so much BORING there's nothing interested in school today. If I were to chose I wouldn't be attending my classes. Same old things keep on happening everyday. There's no such word as EXCITEMENT  in my life. I went home depressed but before heading home I passed by the grocery to get some veggies. Mom usually love to cook especially on veggies its her favorite. I was trying to forget everything about school& just focus on what I have dream earlier when suddenly I've noticed mom on the neighborhood apartment talking to an unknown lady. "She must be the one who is moving in." I said to myself.
