Taehyung couldn't face them in his condition. He was broken and battered inside out. The breeze of the ocean hit his skin, saltiness in the air. He looked up towards the moonlit sky and started to sob.
"Noona...why did you leave me...?"he rambled his anger. It was very devastating, even suicide can be an option. He walked through the darkness in the alleys and streets and stopped in his tracks when a whistle caught his attention. He turned around to see no one. There it goes again. The whistle, the tune. He can't help but be curious.
An instrument shop stood at the end of the lane, now, it wasn't the whistle anymore. It was the sound of a piano, playing the same tune over and over again. Now that the tune was clearer,he realised that it was his sister's favorite tune when she first started her piano lesson.
He walked into the shop, secretly hoping that his sister was behind that piano. Pale fingers gracefully played the keys,"Yoongi hyung..?"he raised an eyebrow.
Yoongi looked up from his seat," That was the first melody I learned when I discovered the beautiful melodies of the piano." He smiled grimly," Too bad my mother didn't let me learn it after that."
He stood up and placed both his hands into his ripped jeans pockets," She threw out my keyboard, all my song sheets, even the lyrics I composed. All went out of the window."he chuckled at the past,"I felt half of my life thrown out as well, all my dreams and and ambition, out of the window. And I tell you, I was really afraid to be like my older brother who is still aimless until now. I don't want to have no dreams at all.."The lad walked towards Taehyung,"Now,I found a family that accepts me for who I am and supports me to persue my dreams. What is yours?"he stared at Taehyung. It was confusing at first to listen to Yoongi's past. Why would he tell his past to him? They weren't close enough for him to express his sadness.
But it clicked in perfectly, he lost his sister, the only person that he consider as family, his happiness. Now that she's gone forever,he felt lost. His life was meaningless. There was no one there to love him like how his sister did. All is left to do is to find his happiness.
"None..at the moment.."he breathed out. His answer earned a chuckle from Yoongi who left after that. Did he said anything wrong?
...
Taehyung rung the doorbell and was lectured by Jimin for a whole hour about making him worry. Hoseok placed a hand on his shoulder,"I'm sorry about your sister."he gave him a brotherly hug.
"The hospital called to remind us of organizing a funeral for your sister."Chora said. Taehyung mentally calculated the cash he accumulated,"I need to organize a cheap funeral. I can't afford a grand one..."he muttered under his breath. But he wanted his sister to have a proper burial,to repay her for the love and kindness she gave to him.
Chora hear him mutter in the corner, away from everyone,"Taehyung ssi.."she approached and handed him a cheque,"This is my contribution for your sister's funeral. A kind lady like her, deserves a proper burial."
Taehyung glanced at the cheque,it was a huge amount. "Chora-"he was cut off,"Please take it. Just use it,I don't care. As your friend, I want to help you out."she assured him. She gave him a soft smile joining the rest of the boys.Later on,Namjoon,Jungkook and Yoongi came in. Taehyung can't help but kept stealing glances at Yoongi. After he told him part of his life history,it felt somehow... understandable if he had that sort of temper. He's had a rough childhood. But Taehyung could see that they will get along just fine.
...
"Mr.Kim,this way please."
All of them, including Chora were called to the police department for investigations regarding Kim Saera, his sister.
