Dada and I were just having a relaxing day since it was his day off and he worked so hard this week
We woke up around 10:30AM and decided to have brunch, witch I was excited about since I love breakfast and lunch time
Dada carried me downstairs to the kitchen and sat me down in my high chair
"What do you want to eat baby boy?"
I thought about it for a minute...
"Ice cream!!"
"No baby, you can't have ice cream for brunch okay"
"But whyyy Dada?"
"because baby boy, ice cream is for dessert"
"But Dada...."
"Don't argue with me little one"
I put my head down not daring to argue with my Dada, last time I did I got spankies
I sat in my high chair watching Dada cook eggs, bacon, mashed potatoes, and some yummy bread that I like
When it was all done Dada put me some on a plate and pored me some orange juice in my sippy cup
I looked up at Dada who was sitting across from me eating
"Dada?"
"Yes my little prince"
He looked up at me waiting for me to ask the question
" can I have a kookie Dada?"
"Now what did I say about sweets baby boy"
I looked down knowing Dada wouldn't let me have a kookie
" there only for dessert"
I say with my head down
" that's right baby boy, now eat your food before it gets cold okay"
"Yes Dada"
I began to eat my food
wanting to cry
But I held it in and finished my food
"Dada I finished, now can I have dessert?"
I ask with sparkling eyes hoping Dada will say yes
