“Shin Hee! Darling! Wake up~!”

A woman was screaming on the top of her lungs.

Oh. It was mom.

“What Mom?”

“Don’t you remember what day today is?”

“What Mom?”

“It’s the first day of school!”

O.M.G. It’s the first day of school and I’m barely prepared.

I checked my clock: 7:06

Oh my. School starts in about 24 minutes!

So I got ready, ate a spoonful of rice, bathed and put on my uniform and TADA! I was ready.

I rode in our car as my mother kissed me and said goodbye.

Anyway, I am Park Shin Hee, half-Korean and half-Filipino. I live here in Korea with my parents and my older brother, Park Shin Ri. I go to Byun Chong High, probably the school of the richest Koreans. I study there because of a scholarship.

My dad, Park Yoo Min works part-time in a restaurant.

“Shin Hee, I wish you the best in this school.”

“Why dad?”

“Well, I have been leaving some bad marks around every corner of the school."

“What do you mean?”

“I was really playful back then. I play pranks on students, janitors, teachers and even the principal.”

“What?! Oh no, Dad.”

“Hehe. Don’t worry. You have YOUR OWN destiny. Make a good one, okay?”

“Okay, dad.”

“Oh! Looks like we’re here. Bye darling. Goodluck.”

Then he kissed my forehead.

I climbed down from our car and walked swiftly but gently, I don’t want to be labeled on the first day of school.

I was entering the door when suddenly, I bumped into someone.

“Oh, sorry.”

“No. I am the one who is suppose to be sorry.”

“No. No.”

Then he helped me pick up my books.

His hand laid on mine as he helped me.

“By the way, I am Byun Baekhyun.”

“Byun? Then you must be the son of the founder of this school.”

“Yes. You’re right.”

“Nice to meet you. I am Park Shin Hee.”

“Oh. Hi Shin Hee. Are you a new student here?”

“Yes. Would you mind showing Room A-4?”

“I wouldn’t mind at all. Looks like we are classmates.”

I smiled and went with him.
