Alicia's POV

I quickly turn, ready to beat that guy's ass, but stop when I see Luke, standing there in all his glory. Hands in pocket he looks amazingly awesome wearing a grey tee an light brown jacket and blue jeans.

His brown hair with golden highlights are styled messily.

"Shall we?" he extends his hand.

All I could do is gape at it. What?

"Wipe that confused look, love. It was all a joke." He smirks "I did it so that you can come here looking much better than ever. You know to make me somewhat jealous. And I guess it was worth it. Wasn't it?"

I stare at him. And stare. And stare. And-

He takes my hand in his. I couldn't help but notice that how perfectly my hand fitted into his. Like they was made for each other.

He leads me to the dance floor and puts his both hands on my waist and I instinctively put mine around his neck.

When your legs don't work like they used to before

We start to dance slowly to the rhythm. I am sure that if Luke will unholsme, I will sure fall down. My legs are like jello, numb.

And I can't sweep you off of your feet

Will your eyes still smile from your cheeks

I see how Luke smiles and how his smile cause wrinkles to appear under his eyes.

I think about that time when we were 6, I first talked to Luke. He was a new student and I guess that was the day I started falling for him.

And surely as I continued to talk to him, I bet that affection, that small childhood crush developed into love.

It is really a mystery that how I fell for him in just one talk.

At first I am shocked, but eventually I melt into the kiss.

It is unlike all the novels I've read. There are no magic or anything.

All it has is the feel of pure love that I can feel through the kiss. I can feel the same love as me, returned to me.

Well there are fireworks. Literally.

As the fireworks continue to blow up in sky, we continue to kiss.

As need for air becomes necessary we break our kiss.

He leans his head on mine. I could feel his breath on my face. And then he whispers something I've waited for my entire life...

"I am in love with you, Alicia."

I pull apart and stare into his eyes. He looks back with uncertainty, with a fear of rejection clearly displayed in his eyes.

"I..." What has happened to me now? Why am I so scared now?

"Yes, Alicia?"

"I... Don't... " I finally speak.
