The Princess and the Pea Epilogue

Your marriage to Leon was quick. His mother this time around treated you more respectfully. You and Leon after a few years got along. You made sure he didn't do anything stupid and took control of the country under his name. You gave birth to a child, but that child wasn't Leon's. It was Rein's. 

Whenever you felt homesick, you convinced Leon to let you go home and visit your family. It was there where you would spend time to Rein. Your father learned about your affair but decided to keep quiet and turn a blind eye since you were forced to dissolve the engagement for the sake of the country. Rein was treated like a son to the king and your father kept the rumors about your affair at bay

Leon never learned that the child wasn't his. This was because the child looked exactly like you. You did eventually had a child with Leon and that child in turn looked exactly like him. You loved both of your children and you made it your job to make sure those children didn't end up like their father. A man who acts on emotions and willing to do whatever he wants for his gain instead of the others.

A/n affairs are not cool. If you are in a relationship and you don't like the person. End it. It is not worth the struggle and pain of getting into a affair.
