I woke up at the sunrise.
I looked at the alarm clock.
Hmm hmm so early.
I brushed back my hair. So exhausting. Everything was exhausting now a day.
Next to my bed lay my memopad. I couldn't fished the song I was supposed to. What excuses should get this time? I didn't know.I heard a rumble. Yeah... time to get up.
...
"But I waaaant oneeeee!!"
I sighed. My younger sister sat in her baby chair and was just as annoying as usual. Her highpitched voice threw headache through my temples.
"I want a pink elephant! Mommy... a pink one, a pink one. Like in my dream! Why wouldn't he give me one?"
Now she pointed her little finger at me.
I stand in front of the fridge and kept opening and closing the door. I wasn't in the mood to eat.
My eyes fell on the window. Everything looked gray. Gray city, gray buildings, gray roads, gray rain.
"Could you please stop that? It's getting on my nerves." My mother complained as she kept trying to soothe my baby sister.
I should just go... should I get an umbrella or not. May be not.
"Stop it now!"
"Okay mom. I'm going."On my way out I planted a kiss on my sisters head. "I'll get you a pink elephant when I come home." She turned her head and kissed me on the cheek. I ruffled her hair and smiled.
"Bey"
