Danganronpa: The Lost Despair

The Infection

I got up at around 5 am I walked to the cafeteria Uyeda came up to me and whispered in my ear

"Asuka's birthday is tomorrow, we need to throw a surprise birthday party I already invited the others" Uyeda said just as Asuka walked in

"What are you guys talking about?" Asuka said

"Oh we were just talking about your bir-" Madoka tried saying as everyone tackled her and taped her mouth up

"Nothing, just plans to escape" Uyeda said

"Oh okay, got anything useful?"

"Nope"

"Okay!" Asuka said walking off

"Lets go decorate one of the rooms then!" Yamisekeruta said

"Alright" Uyeda said leading us up to the fourth floor that  just opened

"I already scanned out this area and I think a birthday in the garden would be good right? We'd use the tables out there and make some balloons!" Uyeda continued

"Where are we getting the balloons?" Yamisekeruta said

"Ask Mononeko!" Uyeda said

"I will go right now"

Yamisekeruta left to find Mononeko

"Now lets just wait for Yamisekeruta" Uyeda said sitting down

A few minutes passed as Yamisekeruta came back with balloons

"Lets go before Asuka sees us" Yamisekeruta said running to the garden

We all met at the garden avoiding Asuka

"Someone should keep her away from the garden for a bit, who wants to?" Uyeda said

"I will" Barina said

"Uh, actually I will, you should stay here" Uyeda said with a nervous laugh

"Okay?" Barina said

Uyeda walked out as we all started to hang the balloons 

"Aha we are done, now all we need is a cake to bake, Yamisekeruta you got that right?" Barina said

"Yeah!"

"Alright! We will stay here" Barina said sitting on a chair

After a while Yamisekeruta came back with two cakes that said "Happy birthday Asuka!"

"Alright, its getting kinda late, lets go to bed" Yamisekeruta said

We all went to our rooms we went to the garden in the morning as Uyeda slipped a note under Asuka's door leading her to the garden

Asuka came to the garden once she opened the door we all jumped out

"Happy birthday!" We said

"Huh?" Asuka looked at us

"Do you like what we did?" Uyeda said

"Of course!" Asuka smiled

"But... why take all this time out for me?" Asuka said

"Cause I...I-" Uyeda got cut off

"You wanna be my best friend?! Of course we can be best friends!" Asuka said

I whispered in Uyeda's ear

"Friend zoned" I said

"What ever! Lets continue the party!" Uyeda said

We all stayed till night hit as we started to head to our rooms the announcements came on

"Gym, now" Mononeko said

We went to the gym

"Well, I got a interesting motive for you! I already gave it to someone, an infection! The infection goes away in three days... also the carrier's life!" Mononeko said with a smile

"You can't do this!" Uyeda said

"Oh, but its already done!" Mononeko said

"This is all just too much..." Asuka said

Mononeko left as we looked around the room

Madoka did a slight smile "Guess its kill or be killed now or even both!"

"No matter what happens... I will not let everyone die!" I said

We all went to our rooms for the night late that night I got a knock at the door, I open it just to see a pale-faced Yamisekeruta

"Yami...? You okay?" I said as he started to get closer

"I will be... once everyone is infected with me!" He attacked me

"Get away!" I said throwing a book at him and running out of my room

"I will get you~ No matter how fast you run! You'll die with me in three days!"

"Fuck you!" I said throwing a knife at him hitting him in the leg

He just pulled the knife out and continued the chase, I ran to Asuka's room banging on her door 

"What is it?" Asuka opened the door as I barged in

"I didn't give you permission to come in!" She yelled

"Yami... Infection... Chase..."

"Huh?"

"Yami tried to infect me... he chased me around"

"So he was first huh?" Asuka said

"Am I able to sleep here for tonight? Doubt he'd let me go back to my room"

"Sure, whatever, just don't bug me" Asuka said

I went to go to bed it took a while before I noticed I drifted off morning came

"Wake up Kiki!" Asuka said with a tray of food in her hands

"Huh...?" I looked up at her

"I brought you food!" 

"What's making you so nice today?" Kiki said

"Just getting you ready for the trial" Asuka looked down

"W-What?! Trial?" 

"Yeah, follow me" Asuka ran to the corpse
