Kayla Knight has lung cancer. The doctors predict that that she is going to die in a few months. During those months, Kayla is trying to do everything she wants to do. She tries to face her fears and go on strange adventures. On her last few months of life, she meets Mathew Harrison, the captain of the football team. She falls in love with him, and him with her. This didn't help with her death. She didn't care about dying at first, but as she fell in love, she was scared of dying.

Andrew Kernel's dad died, Andrew's mom,Jackie Kernel, is now single with two kids. She was fine for a few months, but then started to lose money...quick! She decides to live with her sister, Katie Jones. Unfortunately, Katie lives in Arizona, Andrew wants to stay in New York. When he gets to Katie's house, he wants to spend time alone. As he wonders around Katie's farm, he stumbles upon a stable. That is where he met Storm. Andrew gets devoted to Storm and doesn't want to leave him.

Heather Jackson is daughter of Samuel Jackson. Before Heather was born, Samuel was accused of the death of Francis Sander. He did murder him, and knew they would know, so he kidnaps his girlfriend, Catherine, and runs into the woods. Catherine and Samuel live a happy little life running to different places so they don't get caught. Eventually, Catherine and Samuel have a daughter. Heather finds out about her father's history and tries to clear it all up. Of course, the villages didn't believe her, Heather gets mad and gets on her bad side.
