Jenna drove carefully, dropping the teenagers off at their respected homes. Jeremy and Michael got off and thanked the remaining members of the group before heading into Michael's house.

The house was warm, warmer than the pouring rain outside. It smelt of freshly baked cookies and brownies, making the home seem more inviting than before. Jeremy tugged at the stupid bow tie that was fastened around his neck, mumbling obscenities at the impossible puzzle attached to his dress shirt. Michael giggled and made his way over to Jeremy, tugging and undoing the tie.

"You doof. You pull on this end, not this end." Michael muttered, smiling slightly at Jeremy. Jeremy blushed and kisses Michael on the cheek, glad to have him. The two made their way into the kitchen where Michael's mom stood over some freshly baked goods.

"Hi there Mrs. Mell!" The woman, Michael's mom, turned and smiled to the boys. The motioned towards the cookies.

"Oh Jeremy! Its great to see you! Have a cookie! And Michael, malinis ba ang iyong silid?" Michael flushed a bright red and nodded quickly, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Oo, mama, nalinis ko ito bago umalis." Michael muttered the words, embarrassed that Jeremy had to hear all of that. Michaels mother nodded and looked at Michael with slightly furrowed eyebrows. She directed her attention towards Jeremy.

"So, how did the ceremony go? I figured Michael would've brought his girl home with him..." Jeremy blushed a bright red and opened and closed his mouth a couple of times. He was really speechless, and slightly scared as to what Michael's mother would say about her son having a male soulmate. He looked at Michael, desperation clear in his eyes. Michael stepped forward, holding Jeremy's hand lovingly.

"Mama, Jeremy is my soulmate. We have matching charms." His mpther looked between the two, a shocked look on her face. The shocked look was quickly replaced with a look of happiness.

"Michael! Ito ay kamangha-manghang! Masaya ako para sa iyo kapwa." Michael grinned and quickly translated what his mom had said to Jeremy. Once Jeremy heard this, he laughed happily and wrapped his arms around Michael's mom.

"Thank you..." He smiled energetically, glad to have the approval from Michael's mother. She chuckled and hugged him back, glad that her son had such an understanding soulmate that he already had a bond with.

"Don't worry about it, aking anak na lalaki." Michael laughed lightly, but suddenly stopped upon realizing that his mothers approval wasn't the only one he needed. His father was known for being a strict Christian man.

"Nanay, ano ang tungkol sa papa? ano ang gagawin niya?" Michael looked slightly panicked as he questioned his mother, fearing the worst possible outcome. Her expression dropped immediately and she turned a ghostly pale color, especially for a tanned woman like herself. Jeremy stood in the back awkwardly, not really knowing what caused the distress in the Mell household. Michael turned to look at Jeremy and smiled weakly, squeezing his hand lightly.

"Its my dad, Jer. What he'll think..." Jeremy nodded in understanding, smiling reassuringly at Michael. He lifted his hand up and gently kissed his knuckles.

"Don't worry, love. I'll be here for you no matter what." Jeremy blushed slightly before pulling his distressed soulmate into a hug. He could tell Michael was still worried, but who wouldn't be? One lives their life trying their hardest to be what others expect, and the moment it goes wrong it's like all they live for had suddenly washed away. It's devastating, especially for a teenager who has nothing but the thoughts of others to constantly please.

Just as Michael was about to thank Jeremy for his comfort, the front door of the house flew open, revealing a sight that no one in the house was ready for quite yet.
