They'd strayed far from the cart by now. ''Y'know, Josh...?'' Anne's light accent leaked into her words. ''This was a horrible idea...'' She'd mumble, shaking the gunk off her hands and feet. ''Really, Anne?'' Itzel would shove her way up to the two, nearly knocking Bryce over in her way. ''This place is awesome~!'' She'd smile, not noticing they were being stalked by something. Philip was playing with his glasses again, like he always did when he was nervous. The trees lightened the world in the thick rain forest eerily, and the chirping that usually hung in the air was replaced by a soft siren. This island wasn't earthly. The soil was a light purple, with a hint of blue. A roar pierced the silence triggered a herd of Pluma Magna, seeming to flee from it. They screeched, running past the group as they huddled down. ''JOSH!'' Anne shrieked as one separated her from the lead of the group. ''WHAT ARE THESE THINGS!?'' Itzel cowered down near Bryce, keeping her distance from him. ''U-uh...'' Philip would start. ''PHILIP, STOP STAMMERING!'' She'd hiss. ''TELL US WHY THE HELL THEY'RE HUGE!'' She'd start to cry from a mixture of anger and fear. ''Th-They're Pluma Magna, and... They should never be scared, they're huge..! They have little fears, in fact...'' He was cut off by footsteps when the herd died down and a loud squeal of pain. Anne looked out the shrubs to see one of the Plumas, dead on the floor and bleeding by the neck. ''Oh my-'' Shee'd start, interrupted by something closing in on the corpse. It let down a deep bellow, partially parting it's jaws to let any others know this was ITS food. Josh watched the beast. ''Oh, wow...'' He'd breathlessly mutter. Philip would grab his Dinosaur Handbook. ''That looks like a Tyrannosaurus Rex...'' He'd murmur. ''But it's not roaring like one...'' Itzel would half-squeal, the creature whipping in their direction. It approached, sniffing the bush. Josh, with his inexperience, would stand still, thinking it couldn't see him. He was wrong as it bit down on his shirt, shaking violently. ''JOSH!'' Anne screamed, running towards him to try and retrieve him. ''ANNE!'' Bryce would tug her back as Josh was dropped, winded by the fall. He crawled away safely. ''GO, GO GO!'' He'd hollar, pointing away from the creature as he got up, following the rest.
