I could hear my footsteps as I ran, the nurses were after me. I had to get out of here, and quick. I was almost there, in the lobby, until I saw a girl. She looked like someone I once knew, but she's long gone now. Those monsters took her away.

*thump-*
It was like my heart stopped at that moment. 'I wished I listened ' I say over and over in my head. I didn't even have to speak to her to know that she'd change, it was the look in her eyes; it was full of hatred and hurt. 'Hurt? Why is that?' I asked myself. I know one thing, that was not my mother's heartful and caring gaze, but instead a regretful glare.
*Whoooooossshh*
She zoomed right past me... like I wasn't even related by marriage, let alone blood.
It hurt me enough to break my heart in to pieces so small that you couldn't see them, and that's what it did.

Before I knew anything I was chasing her down. 'What on Earth was I doing?', even though I asked myself that I keeped on running. 'Use your quirk.' A voice said buried in the back of my mind said, and I did.
I quickly made a chain, and rapped it around her ankle to stop her. "Mom, are you oka-" quickly interrupted by her saying "DON'T SPEAK TO ME LIKE YOU KNOW ME, MONSTER!". What on Earth was I thinking!
" MOM, PlEAse it's me."
