Hello LA

You just arrived in LA. You glance at your watch. Great. It's already 12 PM. You were supposed to meet your great aunt Elsa at your new apartment at 11:30. This was your chance to prove to your parents that you could be responsible and you were already screwing it up. You walk to the edge of the sidewalk and try to hail a cab. But, of course, no cab actually comes.

"Um, miss?" A man wearing a suit walks up to you.

You look him up and down before answering, "Yes?"

"I can assure you, I work here ma'am. If you want a cab, you'll want to go over there." He points to a line of taxis across the street.

You look down, "Oh, of course. Thank you."

He nods and walks away. God how can I be so daft. I totally just made myself look like an idiot. You cross the street, making sure to look both ways as you do. You see a man assisting people with cabs so you walk over towards him. You take a deep breath and then say, "Hi. Can I get a taxi?"

He looks at you and nods quickly, "Sure. Just take the one next to me."

Okay. So far so good. You push the handle back into your suitcase and drag it to the taxi. You give it to the taxi driver to put in the trunk. Then you hear two voices coming from behind you. They're the voices of two guys. You look behind you and your jaw nearly drops. They're gorgeous. They're two hot brunette guys who look approximately 19 and look identical enough to be twins, but could be brothers that just happen to look very similar. Do all guys look this good here? I hope so. You turn back around, thank the cab driver and get in. When he asks where you want to go, you give him the address of the apartment. As your cab leaves the airport, you look back to see if you can catch any last glimpse of the two hot guys. You watch as they get into the cab and leave in the same direction as you. OK. That's just a coincidence. There's only one direction to go for now. As soon as we leave this area, we'll go different directions. You look forward again. It wasn't the right time to think about cute guys. Your aunt had to be your priority. You look at your phone. 12:15. The apartment would be about a fifteen minute drive from the airport. Surely being an hour late wasn't thattt bad. Ok. No. It was definitely bad. Nevermind. I don't want to think about this. You look back out the window behind you, but their taxi isn't there. They really were going somewhere else. You sigh. You actually kinda hoped they were going to your apartment. It was silly to wish that. Or believe it. You look out the window on your left, then at your lap, and finally through the window on your right. Just before you let out a sigh, you stop mid-breath. There they are. Right next to you. You can clearly see them because their window is practically right next to yours. They are taking a selfie. Ugh. Of course they are. They're probably those guys who know they're hot and take advantage of it. You look back at your phone. Good I should be there in two minutes. I want to forget about those guys.

"Just turn right on this street and I'll be right on the corner." You say to the taxi driver.

"Ok." He says as he turns and pulls up in front of a huge apartment building.

He gets out and opens your door, then opens the trunk and pulls out your luggage. He tells you the ride cost fourteen dollars so you pay him. He gets back in his cab and drives away. As you watch the car disappear into the direction of the airport, you notice another cab coming your direction. You walk closer to the apartment building wall and wait to see who comes out. It pulls up to the corner and the two hot but seemingly cocky teen guys come out. UGH. Of course they live here. This is probably what I get for coming late. You glare at them, but quickly turn away and walk inside the building after you notice that they saw you. Great, they probably hate me now.

The lobby is big and attached to it is a smaller hallway with two elevators on either side. You drag your suitcase and press the up button. You look at the lobby as you wait and sigh. Then you hear the lobby doors open so you glance over towards them and see the two boys coming in. YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME. Of course this would happen to me. You press on the button two more times. Come on. Open. Open. Finally, before the boys even reach the hall, the elevator doors open and you rush inside. You press the button to close the doors and then press the six and sigh a sigh of relief as the elevator starts to rise.

As soon as you reach your floor you slowly walk out. But then you hear the elevator ding next to the one you took. Oh hell no. You rush down the right hall and turn another corner until you come to room 626. This is it. You knock on the door. Only moments after, Elsa's face pops out.

"Come in! Come in!" She opens the door wide and steps to the side to let you in.

"I'm sorry that I'm so late." You say apologetically.

"Oh, it's no problem. It's not like I had any meetings today. This day is all about you. I'm here to help you get settled."

You smile and put your suitcase in the living room. Then there's a knock on the door.

"I wonder who that could be." Aunt Elsa says as she walks towards the door.

To be continued....

This is my first fanfic so I apologize if it's not the best.

I wonder who could be at that door? 👀 👀 👀
