*ERINS POV*

My name is Erin Jordan, I'm currently finishing my last year in school so that makes me 18. For some reason, people say I have an Australian accent Even though I live in LA. Well, it would make sense that I have an Australian accent considering I am Australian. I don't know why we live in La but oh well, and by we I mean my mum and me. I have a brother but he could be anywhere in the world right now, and I have absolutely no clue where my dad is. My family is quite dysfunctional if you haven't realized already.

I was peacefully sitting watching tv in the leaving room when my mum storms through the front door.

"WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN!" She screams

"I was at Ryans I told you this, do you even use your ears?" I say more interested in what on the TV.

"WELL, YOU COULD HAVE AT LEAST HAVE FUCKING TOLD ME!" She yells.

"MUM IM FUCKING 18 I CAN DO WHAT I FUCKING WANT!" I Say now annoyed "IM NOT YOUR GODDAMN FUCKING LITTLE GIRL ANYMORE!"

As soon as I said that my mums expression changes, she looks like she just got slapped in the face.At this point I just stormed upstairs ready to pack my bags and leave, I was going to Ryans. Before you start thinking he's my boyfriend is going to stop you there, I'm gay.Plus he's like my best friend, I wouldn't want to ruin the friendship by dating him anyway.

I grab my guitar, my skateboard and a few clothes for school. My mother was nowhere to be seen. I walk outside to my car. I throw my things in the back and drive to the beach before heading to Ryan's.

I go to the beach when I'm stressed or just need to get away from things, I don't know why but I just love the way the water sounds when it crashes up against the shore.
