A petite young boy with mild toned brown hair trots down the brick gravel path in town square, passing by some merchants and villagers of his small Japanese town. His mother, standing at least a football stadium away, stares at his beige wool sweater, watching him trot off into the distance of the market. "Mama" his small innocent child like voice echoes. The mother looks around sadly, her tears dripping down her pale cheeks, her eyeliner dripped down onto her black head covered nose. Her small freckled pale hands holding onto a black velvet box with small bold black letters reading, "Deseaced." Finn looks around, waiting for his depressed mother to respond. She looks down at her tan high heels, letting a tear drop fall onto her wrinkled foot. "Mama." He shouts a bit louder, staring into her hazel eyes. The woman walks past the market, and right through her son with no hesitation. Finn stares at her as she walks up onto the stone brick bridge above the crystal clear river. She stares down at the fish filled water, looking down at a small wooden twig sticking out between a slippery gray rock, having smudged ink across it. Her salty tears dripping down into the deep crystal water. Finn walks behind her, looking at the back of her head as he listens to his mother weeping in sadness. "Mama." He says as his five year old like voice whispers. His mother looks around, seeing a few civilians come up on the bridge, she wipes her tears quickly with her silk rose dress and trots down the path to their small one bedroom home. The faint sound of a school bell forces Finn too look up, realizing that it's the lunch bell. He stays on the bridge, hopping up on the railing as his small bare feet dangle in the misty air. "Mama.." he whispers to himself as a teenage looking girl walks down the small grassy hill beside the bridge. She politely sits down on the wooden bench infront of the water, pulling out a tin lunch box full of goodies and food. A bright smile appears across her pale freckled face as she bites down into a homemade oatmeal raison cookie. Finn looks at her, waving his tiny hand in her direction, hoping for some form of reaction. The young girl giggles as her baby blue eyes look into the water at some peckish geese and ducks. She rips apart the half eaten cookie, throwing small morsels of the oatmeal goodness into the water for the birds enjoyment. Finn walks down the bridge and to the hill, watching her behind a tree as a squirrel looks down at him. "Hi." His small voice says to the brown forest looking squirrel. The squirrel squeaks and runs back up the cherry tree. The girl looks over at the tree, from the sound of the squirrel. "Hello?" Her deep passionate voice asks as she hears no response. Finn walks behind the wooden bench and plays with her black silk hair. "Liah.." he quietly says as she pulls out a small caramel candy and puts it in her small mouth. Finn sighs dramatically, walking to the front of the bench as he plops down. He looks at Liah, putting his small hand over her recently nail polished hands. "Hi." He says again as she shivers, looking around as she meets Finn' s eyes. "Hello?" She asks as she moves her hand to her lap. The sound of a young girl laughing echoes in Finns ears. He stands up on the bench and looks around, he sees by the bridge that a small little girl with rosey pig tails is looking at him, waving her small pale hand. "Hi." He shouts as the young girl smiles, continuing to wave. Finn kisses Liahs cheek, and walks up onto the bridge beside the young girl. "You don't exist.." the toddler girl says as she giggles. "Neither do I." Finn looks at her in a confused matter. "I exist." His small voice creeks. The young girl points down to the wooden twig lodged between some slippery gray rocks. "That's you." Her voice says as he gets chills down his arched spine. "How is that me?" He asks as a goose lands ontop of the twig. "You're dead..", "You're just a spirit, A lifeless spirit.. A dead, boy."
