This was be a World War II about a family that tries to survive under Hitler's growing power. I'll make this maybe 24 chapters [depends] in which at least 4 take place in one year. 1945 will be a life-changing experience... Just saying.
Mother was looking downward on the wooden table, eyes just stared at the brown top. She looked hesitant to grab her daily coffee which was next to her, aroma sweeping into her nostirls. Sister Red was beside her, her chair nearly touching hers. Red's hands was on Mother's, while her hands jittered with noticeable movement. "Mother..." Red said, looking at her, eyes at her level, "Everything is going to be okay. Father will come back" After the talk, she took at deep breathe, and said, "I hope your right" Mother said to Red, hands mushed her face, then at her sides. She looked at the coffee and slowly picked it up, like touching something unfamiliar. She sipped at the coffee and smiled awkwardly at her son and daughter afterward. After I walked from the table to the window in the living room, the scenery was kind of off. Not that many people were out on the street, like 4 or 5. I was highly questioned at the look outside, but Red came next to my position and said the secret no one else knew. A secret that would tear our mother apart. Our father was hanged in the 1920's due to assaulting 4 German soldiers. When we first got word of this outcome which was in 1932, in which our grandmother told us a secret during 1917 that stunned us. We looked at her at the time and said, "Really?". I heard a 'shh' by her when our mother perked at the noise and faced her direction. She questioned what we were saying and grandmother told her we were talking about life and what going to happen. She then turned around and grandmother let out a sigh. "I feel so guilty about this..." grandmother omitted and she put her hand on her forehead. She looked at us and said, "When the time is right. You tell her, okay?" She then got up from the wooden chair was wavered a fake smile at us and left the house. "Jacob?" Red pulled me back and forth 'til I snapped back into reality. Red looked at me with total seriousness in her eyes and said, "Should we?" I responded to her, "It's time we tell the truth. The story." I turned around to face the table and looked at mother, clearly stressed as she rub her face with her hands. "Mother" I called as she perked up and faced us. She was stressed, but tried to pull off a smile and managed to say "Yes Jacob?" I hesitated to answer, but Red filled in the gaps and said, "We want to tell you something that grandmother told us back in 1924" We sighed and braced myself, so did Red as we calmly walked to the table. "Which is?" Mother tilted her head slightly and was in question. "We are getting there. Mother" Red exclaimed as she told what grandmother told them 15 years earlier...
