"Hi hon! How was school?" My mom smiled at me. I loved how nice she was, but right now I had to figure out a way to get noticed.

"Not now Mom!" I said as I walked right past her. I quickly ran up stairs and put a new pair clothes on. I redid my hair, then put on some makeup since we weren't allowed to wear it in school. I quickly zipped up my coat and wrap my scarf around my neck.

"Mom, I have to go to the store!" I grabbed my wallet and stuffed it inside my jacket pocket. I saw my mom wave to me as I ran out the door.

(Time skip to the store)

I looked for every ingredient I needed to make the perfect batch of cupcakes. If I made a bunch a sweets for everyone, maybe they'll start to like me. I don't care if it failed! It was worth a shot.

One by one I got what I needed to make amazing cupcakes. I checked my wallet to see if I had enough but sadly, I would have to get rid of an item.

I decided to get rid of milk. I can use water instead. I mean it won't end up as good, but they'll still taste magical. At least if I try hard enough. Oh god, I just ruined my chance didn't I? I had already bought the items so it was too late to go back. God dammit!

I ran back home and opened the door.

"Hey mom, can I use the kitchen to make some cupcakes?" My mom looked at me and smiled.

"Why of course! Just be careful and don't start a fire!" I nodded as I took the ingredients into the kitchen and started up the oven.

I started making the batter using every ingredient they told me too until I got to the milk part. I went searching and found there was not a single drop of milk. I sighed and just decided to use water. It worked as the batter turned into goo.

I grabbed a cupcake pan and used the wooden spoon to put the batter in the slots. As soon as I was finished, I put away everything and put the cupcakes in the oven.

I heard the oven beep, notifying me that my cupcakes had finished cooking. I took them out and placed them on the counter and got my decorating supplies out. I made each little cupcake into a cat. They ended up being perfect.

I grabbed a box and put the cupcakes in there. I then shut the box and put them on the counter. Since it was dinner time I grabbed a cup of Ramen and heated it up.

When my Ramen was done cooking, I took the small cup and sat down at the table. I started to wolf it down. After I was done I left to my room to get ready for bed

(Time skip)

Beep! Beep!

My alarm screamed in my ear. I slammed my hand on the top of it to shut it up. I shot outta of bed and rushed to get ready. I grabbed my school bag and the cupcakes.

Before leaving the house I looked out the window and smiled brightly.

"Today is the day!" I ran out the door cupcakes in hand. I never felt so excited in my life

"Today is the day everyone will think differently about me!" Just when those word flew outta of my mouth, I bumped into someone. The cupcake box went flying. My school bag landed on the road and sadly got run over.

"What the hell?!" The person I bumped into yelled. I looked up to see the hottest guy I'd ever seen. He had a green hat that flew off when we bumped into each. Under that hat was glorious red curly hair. He had a semi-pale complexion, which was complimented by red freckles on his nose and cheeks. He had a slim figure with a good rear-end. His eyes were a glorious emerald green. He had an orange coat and jeans on. And under that coat I assumed was a green hoodie, due to the green hood poking out. It fit him. Like really well.

"I-i'm so sorry!" I blushed as he looked at me. He smiled and stood up. I got up as well.

"Um I'm okay. But I can't say the same for your cupcakes and school bag." Pointing out the fact that my bag and it's contents were non-existent at this point. Not only that but the cupcakes had been destroyed and were now a smeared mess in the box.

"Ah anyway, the name is Kyle Brofloski. I'm guessing you're (Y\N)?" I looked at him with suprise.

"You know who I am?" He looked at me as if he was about to laugh at my stupidity.

"Yea, your in my class!" He burst at laughing. I chuckled for a minute before remembering the cupcakes and my school bag. My face gained a saddened look noticed by Kyle. He picked up the box and took a piece of cake out. He put it in his mouth.

"Oh my god! Did you use water on a recipe that called for milk!?" Kyle asked. I looked at him. What type of boy understands baking to that extent!?

"Uh yeah..." I said, with a very embarrassed look on my face. He facepalmed and looked at me straight in the face.

"Don't you know that attracts bad luck?" He gave me a disappointed look.

"N-no, but what am I going to do now? I made those so everyone won't think I'm as weird!" I felt tears forming in my eyes. "What am I gonna do Kyle? I don't want to be hated!" I screamed. He looked at me, then back at my cupcakes.

"Come to my house after school and we'll make an amazing batch of cupcakes. I have milk and everything else we need. Don't worry about it today. And don't mention this to a single soul!" My frown lifted to a smile. I wanted to hug him. But seeing that we just met it wasn't proper.

"A-alright!" Before he could say anything else, I ran off. I was as happy as can be. I sprinted down the sidewalk all the way to school.

How good is my luck today!
