"Ren.. is that really you?" The Hokage asked stepping closer to me. He examined me from where he stood to see if I was really real. His eyes where wide from confusion, happiness, and with slight sadness.
"The one and only" I laughed thinking how I had said that again. I gave him a sad smile as he took another step. Suddenly he engulfed me in a warm hug. I was surprised but hugged him back. He let out a sad chuckle and whispered, "Your finally back" I laughed too and hugged him tighter.
"It's been to long, Otosan"
Sarutobi was like a father to me since my real parents died. Yes my parents are dead, they died because of me.. I couldn't save them..
"oh! Here let's get you some clean clothes." Sarutobi said backing away from the hug and calling out the door, "Shiro! can you come here for a moment" he said to the Secretary.
"Yes is there something that you need, Hokage-sama?" Shiro asked coming to the door and poking her head into the creak of the door.
"Yes can you get us some cloths for our friend, Ren, here?" he said pointing over to me. Shiro looked tooks me, her eyes widening realizing who i am.
"Y-yea i'll be right back" she stuttered out quickly turning around and went out the door.
"Hear sit, you must be exhausted." Sarutobi said gently pushing me towards a chair in front of his desk.
"Extremely" I laugh sitting down and started rubbing my aching bare feet. Yes, bare, no shoes. I was running for so long with no shoes! That freaking hurts!!
Silence consumed the room. After a few minutes of the quiet, I broke it. "Otosan, are we ever going to talk about what happened?" I asked him, looking up from my feet to him. I was completely serious, all laughs gone.
He looked to me as he took a huff from his pipe. He let out a sad sigh and smile. "No not right." I was about to speak when he spoke again. "You just got home, how about you go settle in, go talk to your friends, ..go see Sakura.." I turned my gaze down to my lap.
".. How is she.. sakura..?" I whispered not looking up.
He didn't answer for a moment but then said, ".. She was very heartbroken, thinking you left her.."
I closed my eyes, biting my lip, and nodded. "but don't worry" he continued "She was in great hands, she was taken care of, she's even join the acadamy." He said smiling brightly.
"She did? Ha she always did talked about becoming a medical nin when she was little" I smiled back with a slight smile.
"I'm back" I turned to see Shiro stepping into the room. "Here are your clothes Ren-san" she said holding the pile of clothing to me.
"Arigato Shiro" I said smiley to her as I took the clothes from her.
"Shiro, can you take Ren to the bathroom to change?" Otosan asked her as he took another huff from his pipe.
"Of course! Please follow me Ren-san!" Shiro said turning to me and putting her hand on my shoulder to guide me from the room to the bathroom down the hall.
I changed into the clothes given to me. They were just a simple knee length white dress and a pair of knee high black boots. I walked back to Shiro, who was waiting outside the bathroom for me. We both made our way back to Otosan's office. Once we made it to the door, shiro excused herself so she could get back to work. I stepped in and sat back down the chair I was previously in.
Otosan and I talked for a little while when he suddenly said, "Why don't you go pick Sakura up from the Academy?" I looked at him confused 'What is he kidding?!?' "Yea, The classes end in about ten minutes, thats plently of time to make it to the Academy!" He said grinning at me widely.
"B-but Otosan-"
"No buts! It's decided, now go!" he innterupted me shoving me out the door.
"But Otosan!!" I said turning towards him as he stuck his head out through the door.
"No buts!" he smiled and closed the door.

I stood outside of the Academy with the parents. I twisted my hands together nervously as some of the parents glanced at me strangely. Finally the bell rang, i almost sighed in relief. Soon kids piled out running to their parents and through the crowd I saw the familiar I saw this morning and longed to see up close for a while.
"Sakura!!"
