Part 14

Chapter 14:

For the past about week Luke has been here for me, and finally it was time to head home, I still can't see but I go back to the doctor for my MRI in 2 months

"Are you ready to go?"

Luke asked me

"Yeah"

I replied, as I sat up and tried to get out of bed, Luke put his arm around me, helping me out, and I was on my feet... Which I haven't been for such a long time

Luke guided me to the door and we headed out the room, to the elevator... He held me very close, there was no way I could lose balance

Somehow without tripping we mad it to the car

"Thanks Luke"

I said

"Anytime"

He replied as he started the car

He drove us home

We got to my place and he guided me in the house

"Your the best, Luke"

I complemented him

"I know right"

He joked

"I'm kidding...thanks"

He laughed

"Do you want me to stay here with you, or will your parents take care of you?"

He asked, as he sat me down on he couch

"I would like you to stay here, my parents probably won't take care of me, and I understand it's to hard for Sierra and Calum...."

I replied

"Ok, well do you want me to bring you upstairs?"

He asked

"Sure but I don't think I'll do good walking up stairs-"

He interrupted, "I got that covered"

He picked me up and brought me upstairs

"LUKE"

I screamed

"It's fine, I got you"

He replied, then put me down carefully on the bed when we got upstairs

"You have a nice room"

He said

"Uh thanks"

I replied

"ASHLEY, YOUR HOME!"

My mom yelled when she realized I was back

She ran over to me and gave me a hug

"Yeah, I am...... Hey, do you mind if Luke stays with us for a while... To help take care of me until I get better? "

I asked

"That's fine"

She replied and walked out the room

"So... Whatcha wanna do? There's not much to do with your vision..."

He asked

"Well, maybe you could sing me a song..."

I suggested

"You really think imma good singer?"

He asked

"Yeah, I do"
