As I was running trough my high school hallways I glanced at my schedule to look at what class I had...science...ALLELUIA at least life didn't make it impossible for me this morning. I loved science like I think I may marry science. Why you may ask? Science is one; passionating and two; it actually makes sense, not like all the stinky grammar rules languages has to offer or even the dates you have to learn by heart for History's sake.

The second the bell rang I stepped foot inside my class and it began. I'm such a badass ain't I? The class was going absolutely great and I kept thinking I should marry Science when suddenly the teacher says the worst thing I could EVER hear: "Since we are going to work on a big project, I decided you would be in teams..." Cool, even if Emma isn't here this morning I will team up with her like we always do. That's when it gets worse: " ...and I already paired you with somebody else." My heart dropped, fluff, I already knew it wouldn't end well for me.

The teacher, which I once appreciated, started to list the teams and I heard "Éloïse Wright you will be working with Isaac..." Oh well that could've went way worse than this. So basically from what I know Isaac is in the football team and is really appreciated from the girls, I mean I could understand it a little bit he is handsome with his tan skin, sharp jawline and broad shoulders without forgetting his blond hair and golden eyes. Still I am not a groupie and won't ever be. My mom always told me to stay independent and I survived so far with this advice plus I have more of a tomboy-ish attitude wishing to keep boys as friends.

A deep voice pulled me from my reflection "Hey" Isaac said with a flirty smile.

"Don't even try that stuff with me" I replied annoyed.

He smirked at my remark "Feisty".

I couldn't help but roll my eyes and mutter "dumbass" under my breath.

His now dark eyes snapped at me and I realized how entertaining it might actually be this year if he's that easy to piss off. «What did you just dare say?» he asked.

A smirk appeared on my face as I replied: «You heard me right, don't make me say it again, you're not worth my oxygen.»

At that point all the students around were gasping at what I had just said and I couldn't help but laugh at how pathetic this situation is: these kind of guys bark loud, but never bite. At my biggest surprise Isaac didn't even budge, he just went back to work ignoring me royally and we finished the lab without exchanging a word.

The bell rang and I literally ran out of class, I wanted to call Emma and ask her for explanations as for why she had left me alone in this cruel world this morning. Don't get me wrong, I have plenty of other friends, I am a part of my school volleyball team and my teammates and I throw the biggest parties after the football team. Naturally I still talk a little bit with the nerds since I used to be member of the chess club and the friends list goes on. Consider Emma as like THE friend I would choose over everybody else.

As I said, I was in the hallways grabbing my phone, when I suddenly got hit into some lockers, I looked up to see who had wished for their own death and saw two angry golden eyes staring right back at me, circled by his friends. I should've known he was trouble, but I really didn't care. We had a staring battle as my smirk grew wider and his face angrier.

"You're not different than everybody else. You are going to respect me and do as I say." he said with the "iciest" tone laced in his voice.

I laughed right back and Isaac strongly pushed his body against mine, I was now pinned on the wall. By that time the whole hallway was frozen, staring back at us.

I lifted a brow, looking right back in his eyes with my usual grin and said: " Listen Loverboy, I understand you treat your b*tches like this, but I don't care who you are...Oh and before I forget does your "eau de toilette" literally comes from the toilet? Please next time leave it there, you smell like sh*t."

I got out of his grip, noticing everybody was stunned.

"Okay princess, two can play that game".

The last thing I replied whilst I walked away was: "The thing is you might be a player, but I'm the coach and I make the rules, douchebag."
