"Making sure like the snow that builds up"
SOOJUNGwas drained after a long day at her work place "cafe cardania". Since it was winter in seoul, many people craved for hot chocolate which was her Cafe's specialty. The cafe was simply vintage. It had a peaceful atmosphere.
After cleaning up, she packed her grandmother's favorite donut. As soon as she went out, she was hit by the cold winter breeze. She held her coat even more closer to her body, all she wanted to do now was to go home and snuggle in her bed.
She slowly walked her way home. Her mood lightened up when she spotted her favourite place on her way back. The Han River. It was beautiful as ever. The snow covered the pink cherry blossoms which sparkled under the bright moonlight.
She decided to relax near the river at a bench. She was so lost in the scenery that she forgot that she was supposed to be at home before 10pm. She snapped out of her thoughts and immediately checked the time. It was almost 11pm.
She walked home as fast she can. She saw that the gates were open.she went in and closed the gates. Her grandmother opened the door even before she could ring the doorbell. She got a little heart attack by the sudden action of her grandmother.
Her grandmother attacked her with questions. "I was worried about you, where were you?, What were you doing?, Why are you so late?, You should have called me"her grandmother then immediately hugged her. Soojung was really surprised by the sudden hug but she immediately hugged her back. "I'm sorry grandma I-I....." Her grandmother cut her off "DID YOU BRING MY DONUT?!". Soojung burst into laughter. She handed her grandmother the packet of donut. "Granny, can I come in now? It's cold out here." Her grandmother realised that they were still standing at the door. "Oh! Sure. Come on in, you might catch a cold"
After taking a nice hot shower, she changed into her cute pj's and went downstairs. Her grandmother gave her a warm smile as soon as she saw her. "come here, I've made hot chocolate for you, it must have been cold out there". Soojung went and sat near her grandmother on the couch.
The view from her house was fascinating. The living room had a big glass door that led to the garden at the back of their house. The garden was covered with snow which made it look more beautiful than ever. They both enjoyed their small conversation while sitting in front of the glass door on the couch and having their hot chocolate and donuts.
"I think you should sleep now, I'll clean this up. You look really tired" Her grandmother said while looking at her weak fame. "Goodnight grandma" she hugged her grandmother one last time before going to her room and dozing off to her dreamland.
"Soojung you have to go to work, wake up dear" She woke up by the sound of her grandmother from downstairs. She quickly took a shower and changed into high waisted jeans and a cute pink sweater.
"Grandma I think it's late, I'll have my breakfast in cafe. Good bye grandma" with that she left the house. She was happy that her shift today ended soon.
As soon as she entered, she was greeted by a sleeping yoongi on the counter. He was sitting one the chair while his hands were on the counter table with his head resting on his palms
"SUGA!!!!!!" Soojung always called him Suga because he once told her to call him that and that he was sweet as sugar and had a lot of swag. Suga immediately fell off his chair with the sudden scream of Soojung. "What the hell Crystal, do you even know how to wake people up?!" (A/N: Soojung means "elegant Crystal" in Madrin, That is why Suga calls her crystal) "do you know how to help people in work?!" Soojung asked him back. "I have too much swag for that" he just shrugged it off. " Ok, then put that swag of yours in trash" she was starting to get mad. "Geez, ok I'm sorry. Don't get mad. Here have some pancakes. Did you eat your breakfast?!" She replied with a simple no and started eating.
The rest of day was as usual. Her shift was over but Suga had to work because he left the cafe early yesterday and that is the reason why Soojung had to close the cafe when it was suga's turn to close the cafe. Soojung bid yoongi good bye and also took some pastries with herself. She thought it was too early to go to home so she went to her favourite place, Han river.
