[Betty's POV]

As time passed by, I got closer to where I was supposed to go. From afar, I could already see the house. It looked old and creepy. Creepier than Thornhill, frankly. I took a deep breath as I made my way to the wooden door. The door creaked as I opened it. The floors creaked as well as I took my first steps into the old house. I glanced from left to right every now and then. Tears fill up my eyes as anxiety kicked in. I circled almost the whole place until I had one last room to check. I was puzzled. Where is he? Well, not that I want him to be here.

I shakily turned the knob of the door to the last room. As I walked around, I found myself standing in front of a present. It wasn't small, but it wasn't big either. It was wrapped with bright colored wrapping paper. It looked pretty neat too. It almost seemed like death wasn't awaiting me. Deep inside, I knew he put that present there because that's where he wanted me to be. I didn't want to believe it, though. I checked my phone to see the time. It was almost 1:40, which meant the one hour time limit he gave me was almost done.

"Lollipop! Lollipop!" my phone rang. Shakily, my hand put my phone against my ear. My eyes were tearing up, fearing what would happen next. "Wh-where are you?" I said, trying to sound fearless, but obviously, I wasn't. There was a pretty long pause until he said something, making me trepidatious. "Look behind you." he said, making my heart drop and my eyes widen as I heard his voice both on the phone and in real life.

Oh no.

I took a deep breath while the tears that were forming in my eyes crawled down my cheeks. I slowly turned around to see a tall figure standing in front of me. He then pierced a knife through my stomach as I gasped for air. I dropped my phone too. It happened so quickly, I didn't know what to think. I was frozen. I snapped out of the dark abyss of my thoughts as he retrieved the knife from where he stabbed me, causing more pain and more blood to drip from my wound. I slowly fell to the ground, unable to breathe properly. He then grabbed my phone and captured a photo of me struggling and sent it to someone he knew would be miserable once he sees the picture.

[3rd Person POV]

"I hope you've said your goodbyes." the mysterious man said, sending a voice message to Jughead. "Who and where are you? What have you done to Betty?!" he texted back with tears in his eyes. "W-wait..I think I know where this is." Jughead told himself. "Call an ambulance or the police, and she'll be gone before anyone steps foot in this household." the man under the hood warned through a text message as he left the old house along with Betty.

[Betty's POV]

I was there laying down on the cold , hard wooden floor covered in my blood. I didn't even know how long I've been laying there. I could barely even move. My body was weak. I've lost so much blood, I could feel myself slowly getting drained. My temperature gradually dropped, causing me to shiver more. As time ticked, I got weaker. My tear-filled eyes slowly started to close. Suddenly, the door swung open.

"Betty!" I did my best to open my eyes as I heard a familiar voice calling out to me longingly. "J-Jug.." I replied with a weak voice. He then cradled me with his arms. He used one hand to support my head and the other to add pressure to my wound to help stop the bleeding. His teary eyes stared at mine. "I need to take you to a hospital." he said, glancing at my wound. "N-no, Juggie. If I don't d-die, the black hood will get y-you." I said worryingly with trouble breathing. "I don't care what he does to me, all I care about is you, Betty." he says with a single tear falling down his face. I could slowly feel my body grow weaker, but I tried my best to stay strong for him. He got ready to carry me, but I stopped him before he could change his position by holding the arm he used to help stop my bleeding. My difficulty in breathing increased, making it hard for me to even speak. With every ounce of strength I had left, I cupped his left cheek with my right hand.

"I-I love you." I said with everything I got. Slowly, my eyes shut and my hand dropped to the ground. It was dark. I completely had no control over my body. I couldn't see or feel anything, but I could still hear. "Betty? No..No! Betty!" I heard Jughead cry out. I was torn. I couldn't do anything. All I wanted to do was hug and kiss him and tell him I was okay. I wanted to feel his touch again even if I did moments ago. Slowly, I could hear his crying slowly fade away. It wasn't like he had stopped, but it was like I was going far away from him. Soon enough, I couldn't hear a thing. I heard nothing. Nothing. That's when I knew..

I was truly gone.
