"Flight 24 to Los Angeles boarding soon". I took out my headphones, grabbed my bag and headed on to the plane. Before we took off I turned my phone on airplane mode and took out my favorite book, Divergent. I look out the window and I am completely amazed by the sight of the big, blue sky and the fluffy white clouds. I had a good feeling about this. I was so happy to leave my hometown of Chicago and start a brand new life. I put my book away and lay my head back and close my eyes.
*a few hours later*
I open my eyes to see LAX and I hop out of my seat and head straight to get my luggage. Once outside I motion for a taxi. I get in and the driver looks vaguely familiar. I shrug it off and tell him the address of my new house. Then, I turn my phone back on. All of a sudden my phone dings and my favorite notification pops up.
"Levi Mitchell has tweeted"
For those of you who don't know who Levi Mitchell is, he's an amazing singer who was once in my all time favorite band, The BoyBand Project. Levi followed me years ago randomly before I even knew who The BoyBand Project was. I decide to send out a tweet of my own. "Finally in L.A! Can't wait for a fresh start". Minutes later my phone dings again. I take it out and my eyes open wide.
"Levi Mitchell retweeted your tweet". I couldn't believe what I was actually seeing. I contained my excitement, not wanting to scare the driver off.
I put my phone away as the driver pulls up I hand him the cab fair, step out of the cab and grab my bags. I take a deep breath and head inside my new home. I'm ready for this.
