New Years Special

HAPPY NEW TEARS- I mean, HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE! HOPE YOU GUYS HAD A BLAST! I CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE YEARS TO COME!! WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Third Person View
"Hey Prince."

"Hey Princess! How's your New Years Eve going??"

"It's going great! My family is altogether even though they hate each other, they came together from both my mom and my dad's side to be here together with me!"

"Hey that's good!"

"It could've been better if you were here..."
She frowned as she said that.
Music started to break down.

"ALL CHILDREN AND TEENS TO THE DANCE FLOOR!"
The DJ called.

"Hm? Wonder what's this, I'll be back, I'm just gonna put you in my pocket, alright?"

"Yeah, have fun Princess."
He says as she shoves her phone in her pocket.

"ALRIGHT LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, TEENS AND CHILDREN WILL BE ABLE TO SING ANY SONG OF THEIR CHOICE BUT! THEY HAVE TO SING IT PERFECTLY! AND YOU ADULTS AND ELDERS ARE THE JUDGE OF THAT!"
The DJ announces... the children and teens think about what some to sing while the adults and elders talk about how stupid this is.

"ALRIGHT YOU HAVE ONLY 10 MINUTES TO PREP AND LOOK FOR YOUR SONG TO SING."
He says as he puts the music back up.

"You hear that Lowell? Lowell??"
She asks but she doesn't get a response. She looks at her phone and sees that she had been put on hold.
She sighs and she looks for a song.
She picked out (insert song here).
She practices it and then goes up first to sing.
She sings and Lowell listens...
He smiles, hearing her sing beautifully.
She finishes but she had made a minor mistakes..

"ALRIGHT NEXT UP!"
DJ calls. They do this for awhile til every teen and child sang.

"OKAY! ADULTS! WHAT IS YOUR OVERALL VOTE?"

"ALEX!"

"ELDERS?"

"ALEX!"

"CONGRATS ALEX FOR WINNING THIS NEW YEARS SING OFF! YOU WIN!!"
The DJ brings out 1 million dollars.

Or at least this is what Alex dreams.
She sighs, wishing for that to happen. She practices her favorite song, "I do Adore."
A few teens and children have already gone up to sing.. and compared to her.. they were better.

"Alex! You'll do great! I believe in you!!"
She hears Lowell in her pocket.

"Thanks Lowell!"
She smiles..
She practices the song again.

Then after a few came up, she went up.
She sang her song.. this sparked his attention and Lowell started listening in. He awed at how cute the song that she singing is..
Then he wonders if that song was meant for him...

She finishes with a few minor mistakes here and there.. overall she did great but not great enough.
She stepped down and another person stepped in to sing after her.
After those few kids and teens sang, the results were in.

"Adults, what are your overall results?"

"Well... it came close but Alex had won."

"Elders?"

"Devon had won."

"My cousin??"
Devon and Alex both thought.

"Looks like it's a tie. Time to break the tie!!"
He says.

"There will be lyrics to a song given to you guys but! The twist is, you have to guess the song!"
The DJ says.
