Lorena Goldguard
3rd person
"She's mine!" A cry came from the other side of the bedroom door.
Lorena opened her eyes groggily, yawning. The sun shone brightly in her eyes, causing her to groan and turn the other way.
Two identical little girls burst through her door, destroying whatever hope Lorena had of getting more sleep. Lorena sat up startled.
"Lorena, she stole my doll!" One pouted, pointing at her sister accusingly.
"B-But she's mine! I got her for my birthday!" The other said softly, tugging on Lorena's arm.
"You mean my birthday! I got her for my birthday!" Said the first tugging on Lorena's other arm.
"Alright, alright, stop it before I lose my limbs!" Lorena said, chuckling.
Both girls giggled, pulling away from Lorena.
"You do remember that you guys have the same birthday? You know being twins and all?" Lorena said, brushing the hair out of the first girl's face.
The girls looked at each other with doubt before they burst out laughing. Lorena couldn't help but join in.
Gabriella and Grace were the toddler twins of King Gregory and Queen Isabella. With long golden locks and cherry red cheeks, they were easily the cutest children in all of the kingdom of Azarka. Don't be fooled though, Gabriella was a vicious little girl, throwing around tantrums like it was money. Her light violet eyes only made her more stunning, shining as if they were lights in the dark. Grace, however, was the opposite. She was calm, timid and almost never lost her temper. A good singer, she cared for everyone and everything around her, but when she got mad, she got mad. She would scream so loud that all the glass in the kingdom would break, and even Gabriella would cower away. But it took a lot to provoke that side of her.
"You guys need to get downstairs for breakfast, I'll meet you there in a minute," Lorena said, opening the door as the girls trotted out happily, seeming to forget all about the little doll.
Lorena shut the door, sighing with content. Glad that was over, she headed to her closet, picking out what to wear for the day.
Lorena was the second oldest in the Goldguard family at the age of 16. She was beautiful, too, with long curly maroon hair that went down to her waist. She owned stunning green eyes with specks of gold. She was perfectly tanned, being a princess and all, with freckles dotting her face.
Lorena was very educated and found creative solutions to problems. Seeing that in her, her parents continued to educate her in order to nurture that side of her, making her the most educated young girl in the kingdom.
Lorena sat in front of her mirror looking at herself. The door to her room once again opened and a young maid with blond hair and brown eyes came through. She had a traditional black and white maid attire on. She smiled and walked up to her.
"I figured, since the twins had stopped fighting, that you had woken up." She laughed and started brushing Lorena's hair gently.
"They never change, do they? I hope they don't, the castle would be very quiet without their personality." Lorena said softly. Emille, the maid, nodded in agreement.
