With a indignant sniff, he wiped his tears away vowing to never cry over his mother again. Tears are a valuable source of water, why waste them for someone who considers you as a burden.
I don't need her. I have solitude and my art. I don't need anyone else. Not now. Not ever.
Lost in his thoughts, he didn't realise when he crashed into a petite girl around his little sister's age. Her eyes widened at the sight of his prosthetic leg, making him regret the decision of wearing shorts.
"Oh there you are!"
Her hair flying behind her, her little sister came out of her room, obviously searching for her little friend. Upon seeing, how her friend reacted, she simply waved her hand and pulled her friend away.
That's not what hurt him though....her words did.
"That's just a freaky fag that lives with us, don't worry about him he'll slope off soon enough and hopefully he'll be gone forever soon."
