Living together? He and Daniel?
No! There is no way he was going to live in under one roof with that dumbass. Over his perfectly proportioned body. Seongwoo would rather live in the streets than choose to breathe the same air as Kang Daniel. Heck! He'd rather have Jaehwan as his roommate, even if his friend is one of the messiest people he knows, but still, it's better than living with Kang. Also, his parents will need to agree to this arrangement first, before his grandparents can toss Seongwoo in one house with him.
Of course, his parents won't agree with this plan. His mother and father love him too much to even let him go and let their precious son live with a stranger, that they know he barely likes, and his sister, well his sister is in Boston at the moment, but Seongwoo is one-hundred percent sure that his older sister will also oppose this decision of letting him live with his fiancé.
Ugh, Seongwoo wants to puke after addressing him that.
He sits across from his grandfather, his parents either side with him on the couch. He makes eye contact with his grandfather as they wait for his parents to process and decide. Seongwoo internally smirks at his grandfather, because he's certain that his parents will object and refuse at the idea of Seongwoo and Daniel living in one house together. Even if they are already considered as adults, well he is—Daniel is still seventeen—his parents will not like the idea of two teenagers (especially engaged ones) being alone together.
Just you wait, grandpa, he challenges on his mind, mom will reject this.
"Are you sure this would be a good idea, appa?" Seoyi asks her father, face full of doubt.
"Yes, I'm sure. After all, they will move in together after their marriage, so this would just be a few years early, and this will also help them get used to being around each other," his grandfather equips.
The young heir turns to his mother to see her reaction and to his surprise, his mother's uncertainty expression changes into contemplation. No way, is she actually considering grandpa's words? His grandfather does have a point, but still!
Seongwoo bites his bottom lips, anxiousness starting to creep into his skin. No, he has to trust his mother. He can't doubt her. Seongwoo returns his gaze to his grandfather, eyes stubborn as he stares at those old, yet with a glint of youthfulness (because of the cheeky look he's giving Seongwoo) eyes. The heir's lips are set into a thin line and fists balled into fists. Seongwoo has to stay firm with his trust in his parents.
"Father, when do they need to move in together?" his father wonders. Seongwoo turns to him, eyes and mouth wide in surprise.
"Dad!" he cries.
Sangyoo looks at his youngest child. "Seongwoo-yah, let us talk, son."
"B-but, dad-" Seongwoo swallows whatever his complaint was when his father gives him a stern look. Dammit, dammit it all.
"As soon as possible. In fact, Euimun and I are thinking of next week maybe."
"That soon, father?" his mother says.
"Of course! The earlier, the quicker Seongwoo-yah and Daniel-ah will get along," Jisang exclaim, face bright at the idea of his grandson and future grandson being close together. Seongwoo glares at him, though his grandfather is unfazed by his grandson's death glare. He was too ecstatic.
Sangyoo and Seoyi communicate with each other through their eyes. Usually, Seongwoo would be happy to watch his parents do this as he enjoys seeing them talk with just their eyes. It amazes him because this shows how much his parents really know each other to the point that they can tell what the other is thinking without the other verbally stating it. Right now, Seongwoo is too busy glaring his grandfather. He knows he's being rude, but he doesn't care at the moment. His freedom from Daniel was at stake here.
