I knew I was going to have to go eat with the guys. For sake of my stomach firstly, and keeping things normal. I sigh heavily, straightening my t-shirt.

I throw on a black plaid flannel over my t-shirt, still feeling self conscious. I straighten the neck and glance at myself in the mirror. Breathe in, breathe out. You got this. Someday your going to laugh at this.

My whole existence seemed to scream AWKWARD to myself. I turned away from the mirror and leave my hotel room, grabbing my room key and phone.

My stomach was complaining furiously when I finally sat down at the table with some of the guys. I was sitting in between the Jacks, with Cameron, Nash, Taylor, Shawn, and sadly.. Matt.

I avoid meeting his gaze. His eyes seem to burn right through me. I can almost hear his thoughts screaming at me. "I know what your body looks like. It disgusts me. I'm going to tell everyone how freaky you look." I feel my body stiffening even more.

Cameron chuckles evilly, and rubs his hands together when I sit down. He stares at me and smirks. "Oh it's coming for you Ari, just wait."

Nash looks up from his phone and glances between Cameron and I, "Oh I heard about that, big mistake messing with so many of us in one room Ari, gutsy though." He raises his hand up for a high five.

Before I can even slowly process this, Jack G slaps Nash's hand down and puts his hand on my shoulder playfully. "Better watch out girl." He says this in a deep pedophillic voice that I find hard not to chuckle at.

I slap his hand away. "Oh I'm scared, big time guys." I say this mockingly, before I dive into my waffles.

I gaze at them lovingly. Whip-cream and strawberry syrup on top of golden waffles was the best breakfast ever. I was so wrapped up in my food I didn't notice Jack G staring at me again for a second.

"Enjoying your meal Miss?" Jack G says jokingly, staring at me with something in his eyes I can't quite put my finger on. I laugh with food in my mouth, almost choking on it. This makes me laugh harder. He starts chortling, and it makes me chuckle loudly.

After a minute of laughing I finally get my food down, everyone else started laughing too. I think someone started filming too. These damn viners. Jack G is smiling so big his gums are showing, and Jack J and Nash are cracking up. Matt is laughing too with the others.

I glare at everyone. "I blame him." I say this pointing in Jack G's face. My finger is probably about a centimeter away from his nose. Why was he looking at me like that before I started choking? What was that?

Jack pushes my hand out of his face and chuckles. "C'mon I was just messing with you." He winks at me and I blink back.

I glare at the others and finish my waffles staring pointedly at everyone, well except Matt. They were pretty much on their phones anyways.

After I'm finished, I turn the screen on my phone on, realizing I had four texts. One from Alec that I quickly ignored for later, another from my step dad that I responded to immediately, and two from "Matty Poo 💩".

"Hey sorry, I should've known I didn't see your clothes on your bed at first, I'm not a creep or anything I swear 😦😕😫"

"Can we talk?"

I glance up, slightly confused and see him looking at me. His hair was tousled from a recent shower, and not styled yet. His eyes almost looked blue in the hotel's lighting, and they seemed to pierce right through me. He looked guilty almost. All I could see from across the table that he was wearing was a red Magcon hoodie. Well he sure showered and changed fast.

I look back down at my phone and type. Why did he look guilty? I click send before I rethink. Might as well get this awkwardness over with.

"My room in five"

I see him look down at his phone and hear the text beep, when I stand up and announce my departure.

No-one glances up from their phones and I roll my eyes. Typical. Their phone is their life. I guess that is how we all became "vine famous."

I leave for my room. I arrive and flop down on the bed next to the window, staring out and waiting for Matt.

Two minutes later, a knock at the door. My heart pounds and my body runs cold again.

I get up, my body complaining at the sudden movement. I open the door and turn around before I even see him. I flop on the same bed again, gazing out at the scenery.

He doesn't say anything for a minute, and I don't either. If he's confused on what to say, so am I.

"So your bra has skeletons on it, that's nice." He says nervously.

I whip my head towards him and glare. "Really." I say this heavy with sarcasm, with a mask oozing with confidence on my face. I kept my face still and cool, like I don't give a damn.

He looks taken aback, and I fill the silence.

"Why were you in my room? How did you get in? Why would you try to do a smack cam prank when we were all obviously getting ready for the day?!" I say this all in a rush, slamming the words together with the insecurities running through my mind and anger. I didn't know where this rage was really being thrown at.

"Whoa whoa look, this isn't even about that Ari. Okay? Your door was slightly open, and when you left you looked pretty nice so I figured all you were gonna do was change. When I saw the crack, you weren't naked or anything so I came in here. I figured you were just using the bathroom or something." He says this quickly, like he just wants to get it out of the way before getting straight to his real point. What was his real point? Hmm? I'm so confused. He doesn't seem disgusted, he just seems confused like me and worried. He complimented me at the same time as well.

Matt sits on the bed facing me, keeping a good distance between us. "Look, seeing you naked wasn't a big deal." He stares at me, searching for something in my newly softened expression perhaps. "What disturbed me was how it was your natural instinct to cover your body from me, and how ashamed you looked." He says this softly, staring at me hard still. "Look I know we haven't known each-other for that long but how you see yourself is annoying me."

He breathes out deeply. I stare at him, not sure of what to say. This kid was odd. We've known each-other for not even twenty four hours and he seems to think he needs to give me life lessons.

Matt puts his hands on both sides of my face and makes me look right at him. "You're beautiful okay? Your body is smoking hot, and whoever says it isn't is stupid and irrelevant. I want to punch whomever made you want to carve those kind of marks into your body." He says this and drops his hands from my face.

He gets up and leaves, and I am pretty speechless.
