A new girl moved in next door today. It was in the pretty house, with lilies and carnations decorating the windowsills and ivy climbing the cracked white walls.

It was hot today. There were almost no clouds in the sky. The road felt wide and open. There is hardly ever any cars on this road.

The girl next door was watering the flowers today. She is pretty, like the house she lives in. I think the house and her go together very well.

She came round today. She asked if I had any tomatoes. I laughed and said that I had some growing out the back. She seemed embarrassed. She has a stray curl of hair springing out from the side of her head. I think it's pretty.

She came round again today. She said she needed more tomatoes, but she stayed for a long time and we just talked. She left without the tomatoes.
