Miji P.O.V

My alarm clock screamed at me to get up. I groaned and slapped the clock. Why does school exist? I got up and went to the bathroom, washed up and put on the uniform. A plaid skirt, white button up long sleeve top, and a blazer. I live alone so I got up and made some cereal. I looked at my phone and it read 7:01 a.m. Ugh, I hate mornings. I don't own a car so I walked down the sidewalk to get to school. I sat on an old bench and put my earbuds in. I stared at the school, slowly filling up with students and teachers. The time read 8:00. I was going to be late. Dammit! I dashed to my locker to get my books then ran to the classroom. I tried my best to doge other students. RING!!! The bell rang as soon as I entered the room. People were staring at me as I walked to my seat.

"Lookie here, the nerd is late," I heard someone snicker. I just ignored them and got out my notebook and a pencil.

"We have some transfer students that would like to introduce themselves," the teacher said. I looked in the doorway to see seven new students. I know trouble students when I see one, and those boys where a dead give away. The girls fangirled and giggled over their good looks. And I have to say they weren't that bad looking at all.

"Can you say your names?" The teacher asked.

"Namjoon."

"Yoongi."

"Taehyung."

"Jungkook."

"Hoseok."

"Jimin."

"Seokjin."

They all sat in the back of the class. Could they be more obvious? Well, I didn't really care It's my senior year of high school and I need to focus on grades. The class went on as usual. The teacher saying boring things and having me write them down. The bell rang, thankfully. But the teacher asked for the new kids and me to stay. I could hear the sighs of the new kids.

"Miji would you be so kind to show the new boys around the school. You will be excused from all your classes. You are my best student so I give you the opportunity," I just nodded my head and grabbed my bag. The boys snickered quietly and exited the classroom. I followed.

"So you're the nerd," one of them asked. I stared at the ground and nodded. They laughed and handed me $20. I looked up at them confused but they had already walked away. I just put the money in my pocket and followed them. I had to make sure they didn't get into trouble, right? I followed them out of school. They started to walk on the sidewalk then into an ally. I stayed very far behind so they couldn't see me. When they turned into the ally I ran to catch up with them. To avoid being seen I put on my black bandana from out of my bag. I could hear them talking, but I didn't know what they were saying. I pushed my body against the wall and tip-toed closer to the opening of the ally.

"We need passes The Abby," one of the boys said.

"New 'round here?" An unfamiliar voice asked.

"Just give us the passes," a familiar voice said. I need to see what is going on. I slowly inched closer to the entrance and turned my head. I saw the seven boys lined up horizontally to one person with a mask. Why where they asking for passes to The Abby? Where they a gang? I hope not. I don't need more people to watch out for. I saw the masked person chuckle and give the speaking one a necklace. The Abby necklace. The same one I have. The boy who had the necklace must be the leader. They nodded and started to walk out. DAMMIT! How am I going to not be seen? I, conflicted, started to run back to the school. I ran past buildings and bushes till I reached the field of the school. I stopped and gasped for air. What were they doing? Are they going to The Abby? Will they recognize me? I need to find my friends and tell them. Good thing it was lunch. I walked back to my locker and dropped off my books to get some for my last class. The cafeteria was quiet today. Oddly quiet. I found my usual table and sat. Jisoo was staring at the table that contained the new kids.

"Who are they?" Jisoo asked.

"New kids," I replied. I went on and told her their names.

"I wonder if they are new in town," Allegsa stated.

"Meet me at the library after school," I told them.

"They are mighty fine," Sohye blurted. I just rolled my eyes at her and ate my food.

After School

I dropped off my books at my locker then began to walk down to the library. I greeted the librarian and walked off to the corner where all my friends were. Well, except Lisa. She has clubs on Mondays. Allegsa smiled at me and motioned me to sit down.

"Those boys are trouble," I said.

"Yeah no kidding," Alice said as she drew in her book.

"No I mean they are a gang." The girls stared at me wide-eyed. I nodded my head at Eunhe who seemed unsure.

"Do they have passes to The Abby?" Sohye asked.

"Yes, Namjoon was wearing the pendant," I said as I pulled out my necklace that was tucked in my shirt. The pendant is a necklace with a small opal stone at the end of it. Allegsa facepalmed herself.

"How are we going to mask our identities so they don't recognize us?" Allegsa asked.

"Always wear your bandana when you're out," I said. They all nodded and started to do their homework, as did I. Eunhe was first to finish and she left. Then Alice, then Sohye, Then Jisoo. Allegsa smiled at me then left after Jisoo. I always had the most homework. Idk why. I finished a half an hour after Allegsa and Jisoo left. I took a sigh of relief, packed up my stuff, tucked in my necklace and started to walk out the door. I was put to a halt by an arm blocking the doorway. I looked to my side and saw one of the new kids. Jimin I think.

"What's the name?" He asked in a stern voice.

"M-Miji," I stuttered. He smirked then chuckled. He walked out and as he did his palm brushed up agents my thigh. Causing my breath to hitch. He looked back and bit his lips. I looked at him slightly disgusted and slightly shocked. I shivered then walked back to my house.

A/N

I hope you are enjoying the book. If there is confusion The Abby will be explained soon. And the girls are nerds at school. And I haven't decided on the name of the girls' group. So any recommendations would be helpful.
