The Start of A New Idol (Book One)

Chapter 2

Suddenly my phone started to ring so I clicked the answer button and put my phone up to my ear. "Hello?" "Hello my dear daughter." I closed my eyes trying to stop myself from yelling. "Well if it isn't my oh so loving father.." I said sarcastically into the phone not caring if others hear. "now is that any way to talk to your father, your king." I scowled into the phone. "Just because you are the king of our home country does not mean I have to listen to you. I am going to do what I love even if you don't want me to. At least I am going after my dreams unlike you. Plus I am not going to stay in that castle like some doll like you do with mother. I am done talking to you so do not contact me unless I contact you, give my regards to mother, and tell those guards you've got watching over me to go back to your side and leave me the hell alone. Goodbye father."

I hung up the phone before he could speak a word to me. I lost my appetite, so I got up throwing the rest of the food away and walked away from the cafeteria not caring if anyone was looking at me or talking about me. I went to one of the empty practice rooms and closed the door behind me. I sighed to myself as I went over to one of the windows and opened it. "Why did he have to call me? I don't want to take over the kingdom.. He never listens to me and mother never listens to me.."

I looked towards the sky and started to sing a song my mother would sing to me when I was a child. I continued singing the song not caring about the bell ringing or about anything else. I let all of my love and passion for music into the song, as well as my bottled up feelings from when my father called. I was so into the song that I didn't realize that there were people watching me from the doorway.

I had finished singing the song and sighed to myself looking at the sun setting indicating that it was near evening. After a few moments of looking at the sky I heard slow clapping. I turned my head and saw six boys with Tomo and Haru. I immediately recognized three of them to be in the same class as me. "Hello Haru-chan, Tomo-chan, Jinguji-kun, Ichinose-kun, and Kurusu-kun.. Who might you three be?" I looked over at the three I don't know of with my light amethyst violet eyes waiting for them to answer. They were all looking at me with wide eyes then suddenly the blonde with glasses started running over to me. When I saw he was getting too close I jumped into the air placing one foot on his head then jumped off of his head doing a front flip in the air then landing on my feet near the piano.

I heard a thud knowing he fell down to the ground as I take a strand of my golden blonde hair and pull it behind my ear. "Now, instead of running towards me can you three introduce yourselves to me?" I noticed the blonde was already up on his feet. "My name is Natsuki Shinomiya. You're so cute!" I nod to him and look over at the bluenette and the red head. "And you both are?" They realized that I caught them staring and started blushing while introducing themselves. The red head had decided to go before the bluenette did. "My name is Otoya Ittoki. Nice to meet you. That was beautiful what you just sung." "I'm Masato Hirijikawa. It's a pleasure to meet you." They all had bowed to me and in return I bowed back. "I am Lillia Cordelia Dawn Mizuchi. It is a pleasure to meet you all as well.." I stand back up straight and look over at Haru and Tomo. "we might want to get to our dorm so we can unpack our things.." I start walking to the door and everyone moves out of the way as I walk out of the room and head to the girl's dorm rooms.

I didn't notice if they were following me or not, so I continued on to walking to the dorm room. Once I got there I walked in and started unpacking my things and putting them away. By the time they got to the room I was already done and working on a new composition for the assignment. I was so into working on the composition that I didn't hear them coming in or even starting to unpack. I hummed the melody softly and worked on the lyrics next. After about a half an hour I had finished figuring out what lyrics to use for the song. I smiled to myself as I get up and stretch my body. "Are you finished Lillia-san?" I turn around looking at Haru and Tomo. I smiled and nodded my head. "yep! I think its one of my best ones yet.. Want to look at it?" they smiled and nodded as I grabbed my music sheet and handed it to Haru. Tomo got up and went behind Haru so she could read it as well.

After about 5-10 minutes I turn to look at their expressions and their expressions were ones of amazement. "So how is it? Did I do alright?" "Alright? It's fantastic!!" They both yelled at the same time. I sigh out in relief after stretching a bit "thank goodness.. I was afraid I would have to think of another compositions plus redoing the lyrics.." They look at me as if I am crazy after I said that. I look at them tilting my head to the side confused. "what? Why are you looking at me like that?" They shake their heads in disbelief and sigh. "Well, we should go to bed and get some sleep for our classes tomorrow." I yawn lightly and go over to my bed getting in and covering up. I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow not hearing them saying goodnight to me.
