Attacked by a shark

Prologue

"Daaaaaaaaaaad can we please go surfing?" My little brother Dameon begged. It was the summer holidays, and we were as bored as ever. All of my friends had gone on holidays and i was stuck at home with my whole family, you wouldnt understand the boredom...

After begging for 2 weeks, my dad finally gave in and brought the whole famile to Pawloon Island, the waves there were big and the sea side houses even bigger! After travelling for 3 days, we finally reached our destination. My brother and i ran towards the sea and splashed into the waters, the sun was at its peak and many people were at the sea. Coconut trees were everywhere and little children floated around on floaties shrieked happily.

The sand was smooth and dust-like, soft and light brown, the sea water was crystal clear with sea shells spreading far and wide everywhere. The coconut tree leaves were in a lushes green colour, surfers of different age were having so much fun!

"I cant wait to jump on those boards and surf!" I said feeling all excited and bubbly.

"Me too! Lets go ask mom and dad" Dameon ran off ahead of me while i chased after him, running into our multi-storey sea side house, the walls were decorated with long light brown bamboo poles and the marble floor was cool and white.

"Moooooooooom, could Danielle and i go surfing now please?" Dameon gave his best puppy eyes but mom pushed him away, "You two have lots of time to surf! We're staying here for 2 weeks, today we'll explore this island together as a family" Mom said firmly and we knew nothing could change her mind.

I didnt want to ruin the atmosphere during our holiday so i grabbed my things and went to my own room. I was awe-shocked to see mom saved the best room for me! The room was at the highest floor facing the ocean, i had a balcony with carpeted grass and a tiny water fall was placed against the wall.

"Wow" I didnt know what else to say, it was just glamourous. My bed was a double king size bed with a huge soft plushed mat across the whole floor, a swing was stucked up to the ceiling next to the blacony glass doors, the toilet had a jacuzzi and a huge bath tub that could easily fit 5 people. I was so happy i ran out of my room to my mom and gave her a big hug.

"Thanks mom, you're the best!" I smiled and walked towards my dad, "You too dad, without you, we wouldnt have this holiday" I gave both of them a kiss and went back to my room.

After unpacking all of our things, we went down for lunch, my mom and i went for spa while dad and Dameon went for golf. It couldnt get any better than this.

We spent the next 3 days resting at home and chatting with one another and going shopping, Dameon and i bought new surfing boards and i bought so much clothes!

Night fall came and i said goodnight to my parents, staring out into the ocean enjoying the cool ocean breeze. Just then an idea came into my head 'Maybe i could take Dameon with me and we'll go walk around!' I jumped out of bed and went into Dameon's bedroom.

"Hey bro, want to go walk at the beach?" He turned to look at me, "Did you tell mom and dad?" I walked over and said, "Nope, this is our little secret."
