Attacked by a shark

Chapter 3

"What are you children going to do today?" Dad asked as we were walking down the staircase, "5 more days and we're leaving" Dameon pouted and said "Dont remind us dad, we were having such a good time." Mom laughed and we walked out of the house together.

"Your father and i are going for a stroll and then go visit the dolphin's, you kids want to come along?" Mom asked, we both shook our heads and said "Nope, you enjoy your 'date' with dad, Dameon and i are going underwater diving with Jacob" Daemon smiled proudly and both of us went running to Jacob's little house.

"Hey Papa Rock, where's Jacob?" I asked, Papa Rocks stood up from his chair and smiled "Hey kids, Jacob went to get all your diving equipments, he'll be back soon. You guys can go into his room." We nodded and headed into Jacob's room. As we entered, there were pictures of his dad and mom everywhere, we looked at every single photo and found baby photos of Jacob.

We laughed and giggled at some of his funny poses as a toddler, "Hey! No laughing at my photos!" Jacob came into his room and smiled "Thats my mom, isnt she pretty?" I had to agree, Jacob's mom looked tall and slender, with long brown hair and light blond highlights, she had pretty blue eyes and a sharp nose. Her mouth was a perfect pink and her skin was white and looked tender like baby skin.

"What happened?" Dameon asked, "I never see your mom around" Jacob gave a sad smile and replied "She died a few months after i was born" He looked at us and said again "But she loved me, and so does my dad. She tooke a video everyday while she was still alive, talking into the camera what a healthy baby i was. I love her."

"Sorry we asked" I said, he looked back at me with cheerful eyes, "Its okay, i love talking about my mom anyway. Are you guys ready to go diving?"

The underwater world looked so beautiful, every little fish was unique and the water was cool against my wet suit. There were many clown fishes and i even baby saw sea horses! The seaweed was swaying to the flow of the water and they looked gorgeous under the sunlight.

After a long time, we surfaced the water and swam back to land, "That was awesome!" Dameon said, "Do you do that all the time?" He was so happy he looked like he could go for another dive but we all knew we were too tired to do that.

"Thanks for today." I said to Jacob happily, still bubbling excitedly inside. I might have looked like a fool with that smile but i didnt care. Dameon and i walked back to our rooms and took a rest for the night. I felt that i could live next to the sea for the rest of my life.

Slowly i fell asleep dreaming about all the adventures i could have living on such terms.
