Chapter 6- A Horrible Flashback

Chapter 6- A Horrible Flashback

~Zayn's POV~

"Come here you" waving Andrea over to the space beside me.

As she sat down, I pulled her into a hug. "What's wrong hun? Why don't you wanna watch it?"

Tears started to fill her eyes. "If you don't want to talk about it, it's okay." I turned to Niall and Charlene, Charlene was also tearing. 

"When-we-were-5-our-our-parents" Andrea tried to explain

"Our-our-parents-died-in-a-car-a-accident-in-in-Hawaii" Charlene managed to say in between sobs, "They-were-in"

"Shhh, it's alright. I'm here for you." Niall calmed her.

"A coma. Then they just gave up."Charlene said in a more calmed manner.

~Charlene's POV~

*Flashback*

*Da da da da da da da da*

"Hello?" I picked up my phone.

"Is this Charlene?" the person on the other line asked.

"Yes, that's me. May I help you?"

"I'm sorry to inform you but you parents, Anne and Martin, met in a head to head collision. They are now in the operation room."

"Where-where-are-t-they" tears choking me.

"In Hawaii Pacific Health."

"O...okay...thanks.." I hung up.

Why? Why must it be them? I cried. Aunt Mabel saw me crying and asked what happened. I explained everything. She took Andrea and me to Hawaii. We went to the hospital. By the time we got to the hospital, the doctor told us they were in a coma. It could be minutes, hours, days, months or even years before they can wake up. The doctor allowed us into the room. "M..mum? Can you hear me? It's me, Charlene." I spoke, holding her hands so tightly. She didn't even twitch. I started to become furious. "MUM! WAKE UP! WHY WON'T YOU WAKE UP?" I shouted while tears kept streaming down my face.

"Charlene, stop it. Mum will be sad." Andrea hugged me while sobbing.

"We are only 5 years old. We need our parents..." I sobbed, hugging Andrea.

"Girls, it's going to be okay alright. Nothing's going to happen." Aunt Mabel assured us.

She spoke a tad too soon. Just then, the monitor started to make some noise. Doctors and nurses rushed in, told us to go out and wait. After half an hour, a nurse came out. "I'm sorry, we did our best." she said, before walking away. I looked at Aunt Mabel to tell us what "I'm sorry, we did our best" meant. Instead, she started to cry. At that moment, I knew what "I'm sorry, we did our best" meant.

*End of flashback*

~Zayn's POV~

"If you guys want, we can switch to another movie." Liam walking over to the player.

"It's okay. Really." Andrea affirmed.

When the car crashed, Andrea hid in my chest while Charlene was sobbing. Poor girls. Why did they had to lose their parents at such a young age.  After the movie ended, both Andrea and Charlene had fallen asleep. I carried Andrea to her room and Niall did the same.

*12 DAYS LATER(12September)*

~Charlene's POV~

"I wonder why they are so secretive these few days..." I whispered to both Andrea and Niall

"Who knows? I'm their buddy and they won't even tell me." Niall said pouting.

"Oh well, let's just go to a theme park or something." Andrea suggested.

Might as well. Liam, Harry, Louis and Zayn told us today is our free day but they have to get something done. They didn't even bother telling us where they were going. We were in San Diego. We had an uncle in San Diego. I remember he said that the Belmont Park is a need to visit if we happen to go to San Diego.

"Let's go to Belmont Park! Uncle Albert told us it was a need to visit! So why don't we go?" I jumped up and down.

"Sure!" Niall said, "But how?"

"CAB!" both Andrea and I said in unison.

We exited the hotel and managed to hail a cab. We soon arrived at Belmont Park. Thank god it was a school day. There was an old couple some stray kids and some people eating on a bench. We paid for the entrance fee and went in.  There are so many rides! One ride caught my eye. Roller coaster. I always liked sitting roller coasters. "Roller coaster?" I asked.

"Okay! Let's go!" Niall said, running to the roller coaster.

Nialler Nialler...  We got onto the roller coaster. Me and Niall on the first on and Andrea on the one behind us. "First one to put your hands down, will have to treat the other 2 to cotton candy and hotdog?" I dared the both of them.

*Please remain seated throughout the whole ride, arms, legs should be kept within the vehicle* blah blah blah . Off we go! "AHHHHH!" all 3 of us screamed but none of us had put our hands down. After 3 loops, and many upside downs, Niall finally put his hands down. "That was AWESOME!" Andrea exclaimed, getting off the ride.

"Cotton candy and hotdog time!" I laughed, pulling Niall to one of the booths.

"3 cotton candy please!" Niall asked the person, handing the person a note.

"Thanks Niall!" giving him a big hug.

"Anything for you babe." pecking me on my forehead.

"Ahem, I'm still here..." Andrea giving the 'Am I invisible' look.

We chuckled. We pulled her to another ride. After almost all the rides, it was already 6pm.  'Shall we head back for dinner?" I asked. Both of them nodded. We were all too tired to do anything now.

*Da da da da da da da da*

New Text Message

Louis the Carrot King

We're staying at a hotel tonight.  Hotel's called US Grant. Paul has already check us in. Just ask the receptionist for your room key. We'll not be eating dinner tonight! Still busy! See ya! xx

Louis... Fancy changing his name on my phone... "Looks like we're heading to US Grant tonight!" I informed them. We took a cab to US Grant, went to the reception to get our room keys. I got Room 312, Andrea got 314 which was beside mine and Niall got 313 which was opposite from me. We took the lifts up. All of us went to my room. Since I volunteered to cook dinner. The moment I entered the room, my jaw almost hit the ground. The room looked more like an apartment instead. It had a kitchen, a couch, a plasma TV and a separate room for the bed. I went to the kitchen and cooked some lasagna. We ate the lasagna while watching some television. We watched till around 10. Since all of us hasn't bath and gotten rest since we came back, we decided that we needed some sleep and said our good nights.

"Don't me miss too much!" I chuckled.

"I won't." Andrea said sarcastically.

"I will miss you, I'm sure." Niall said giving a kiss on the lip.
