I sit down in the waiting room of the hospital. Joe and Randy and to see how bad the cafeteria food is since we might be here for a little while. I flip pointlessly through a magazine.

Randy comes back and and sits down next to me, grabbing my hand. I look at him for a moment and smile. He really is the love of my life.

"What are you smiling at?" He asks. He struggles to keep a straight face as I make faces at him.

"You know, we don't live together yet..."

He nods, "You pick where you want to live and we'll do it."

This is why I love him. "I've never been to your house, or met your parents, or any of your family." I ramble on.

"Shhh. It's ok." He squeezes my hand, "All that matters is that I love you, and I'll do anything for my Queen."

"How does my King like the beach?" I worked extremely hard when I was younger to get my house in Pensacola, and I'm not fond of the idea of giving it up.

"I can live on the beach." He half smiles at me, before turning his attention over my shoulder.

I turn to see Joe coming into the waiting room, a tray of junk food in his arms. "Kay, let's go see Jon. I think we need to have a Shield meeting."

I nod and stand up, Randy doesn't let go of my hand right away. I look at him, my eyebrows scrunching together, he kisses my hand, "I'm always here for my Queen."

We walk into Jon's hospital room, he's sitting on the edge of his bed looking out the window.Joe sets the food down on the bedside table. I sit next to Jon on the bed, slinging my arm over his shoulder.

"Last time we were in this situation it was because of The Plan." He says quietly. "And it was Seth here, not you."

The only difference is Seth went behind our backs. "What's the game plan?" I question, standing up and pacing the room.

"We have two options." Joe says. He grabs a bag of chips and tosses them at Jon's back. "Play defensively, protect ourselves, don't initiate the battles."

"Or?" We aren't weak, we are the shield! We used to dominate without question.

"Play offensively, attack them, don't let them figure shit out before we make them work as a team."

"There going to bring in a girl." Jon says tearing into the chip bag.

"Makes sense." I stop pacing and lean against the window. "But who would it be, every girl is deep in a storyline, and they can't wait."

"They could bring someone back, or someone new." Jon answers.

"Well we'll burn that bridge when we get to it." Joe says. "More urgently, are we going to invite Randy into the shield?"

I shake my head, "Inviting isn't something we do, we test him, we challenge him, we make him work for the vest."

"Yeah, and how do we do that?" Dean questions as he lays down on the bed.

"We throw problems at him." I say standing up. "And I'm going to show Sethie why I was known as the fucking panther." I hiss walking out of the room.

Roman Reigns.

Kayla was known as the Panther. She wore all black, almost Shield gear, in NXT and had a knack for attacking people when they weren't expecting it, especially from above.

Dean doesn't look too out of it now, the Docs said he has a concussion, and they want him to stay overnight, but depending on how he is in the morning they might clear him.

"I don't like this one bit." He mutters swinging his legs up on the bed.

"Why?" I tilt my head turning my attention from the window to him.

"Kayla and him loved each other. Even if she was with Randy there was a connection." He pauses. "They're going to bring in a girl to pull at that. To draw attention to that connection."

"And try to destroy her and Randy." He nods. "They want to tear us apart from the inside." I sigh, "We have to prevent this."

"I don't think we can, that's the problem." He's state hardens, "That's why I need to be there tomorrow night."
