Choosing to just shrug it off I walk into my own home. I spot my mother lounging on the couch listening to music from the television. I walk up to her and give her a light kiss on the cheek. "Hi mama, how are you?" She gives me a sweet smile before giving me a light pat on the cheek. "I'm doing well. Your father is in the kitchen cooking. I would help, but he won't let me." She chuckles.
