It was when they were sitting at the table to eat, that the front door opened. Still in their little bubble, they didn't really notice it. It was only when they heard someone clearing their throat that they noticed the intruder.
"Well well, isn't this adorable?", Maleficent said, irony dripping from every word.
Regina got up and in the blink of an eye, she stood in front of Emma, threatening Mal with her signature fireball.
Mal's laugh echoed through the room: "Do you really think you can defeat me with thát? 'Gina pléáse, I taught you how to make these, you gotta do better than that!"
One move of her hand, and the fireball disappeared. Regina got mad, but one touch of Emma's hand calmed her down. Emma got up and started to speak: "I don't know who you think you are, but I am pretty sure that you have no business coming into this house. But now that you are here, it is a perfect opportunity to make you pay for what you did to Regina..." Emma started to move towards the female dragon, who wasn't even slightly impressed.
Emma grabbed Regina's hand and with one glance at the other woman, they were on the same page. Emma squeezed the hand and they both used their magic simultaneously to trap Maleficent.
The dragon was completely caught off guard and got trapped in a cage of the magic of the two lovers.
At this point, Regina and Emma knew the fight was over and they could both move on and see where this new thing would lead them.
