Me, Myself and my Resolutions

The day started like any other, I woke up at 6AM, had breakfast and got ready for school.

As I walked towards the bus station I bumped into a man who was talking on his phone.

For the rest of my way to school I kept muttering to myself things like; I'm so sorry, I'm an idiot, I should've payed more attention... But then I remembered one of my new years's resolutions: Be kinder to myself.

When I got to school, I went to English's class, I sat right next to my friends, Mr Burns came in and the class started;

Lucy Andrews - he called

Here - said Lucy Andrews

Felicity Collins - Mr Burns called

Here - I said...

math class...

Hello students, I'm Miss Wilson, and I'll be your new maths teacher this year. The activity will be introducing yourselves - said the teacher with artificial blond hair

I'm Lucy Andrews...blah, blah, blah... - her speech was eternal

Finally, my turn- I'm Felicity Collins, I like playing videogames, I love english class but I'm terrible at maths, you should know that. (What? One of my resolutions was to be honest)

after class...

I went home.

My number one wish was to be treated normally like any other girl, not this weirdo I really was. While I played videogames the other girls played dolls, while I read books the other girls took selfies; I didn't plan my life for it to work out like this.

That's why I have my resolutions; If I'm kinder to myself, I'm more confident, If I'm more confident I won't humiliate myself that much. If I'm honest, I'll say what I really think, not what others want me to.

My dream was to be like other girls.

My resolutions help me be myself.

It's only Me, Myself and my Resolutions
