I'm sorry.
I'm sorry that you thought slitting your wrists was the right thing to do.
I'm sorry that you thought the only way to stop the pain was to cause more.
But I'm also sorry that you didn't think everything through.
And I'm sorry that I caused you to think that you weren't worth fighting for.
I'm Sorry was written after one of my close friends hung herself after fighting a losing battle with depression. It was just something I wrote to vent my feelings on the day of her funeral. I'm Sorry shows how depression, and it's aftermath, affects not only, the victim, but the people who are close to them.
