Jack went over to Bobby and whispered to him. "Very good, sir." Bobby replied starting up the bus. After they took off, Jack went over to Jodake and Tommy. "Great job, guys. Really." Jack said. "We still lost a good man." Jodake and Tommy said, heads down. "I'll check on Asaka, she's got to be heartbroken." Jack told them. Jack went into Asaka's quarters trying to find her, but she wasn't there. Jack heard rustling in the next room and she was in Katons room. She was looking at a note which read,
"Asaka, I feel one of us from this team is not going to make it. And, if It's me, I just wanted you to know that if you want to honor me in my death, stay with the team. I know you probably feel like you have to quit now. But I've always believed that walking away is never the answer. So keep fighting, and keep winning. But always do it, remembering me. What I was, and what you'll be. This team needs you whether you know it or not. So stay on it, for me. Goodbye and good wishes, Asaka. Miss you." - Katon
Asaka put the paper down and sat on Katons former bed. "He was right, y'know?" Jack said. "About what?" she asked. "That we need you. We wouldn't have gotten through this without you."
"No. We wouldn't have gotten through the day without Katon."
"That, too. But we wouldn't have survived the soldiers without you."
"He was such an idiot. Why'd he have to go on that plane?"
"Because he was thinking exactly what I was thinking. I was going to get on the plane, but he offered to. I tried to stop him, but he refused."
"He saved you, and us."
"Yes, he's a hero. Now, come on. Let's figure out what to do with Etimis." Jack finished getting up. Jodake met with Amy and brushed her cheeks. "Are you okay?" Amy replied, "I'm fine, and you're fine. That's all I care about. Except of course I hear, Katon died."
"He did, saving us. You wouldn't be looking at me right now if he hadn't."
Amy smiled at him and they kissed. Gearhead caught Jack and said, "Hey. Your sword." Jack took it and went over to Etimis and said, "You've been in my life so long, and caused the death of one of our family. I'm getting the feeling I need to kill you. You're going to a very remote place where there's nobody to help you escape. You can't escape. And two, after this, we're going to stake out all the rest of your friends." Bobby landed the bus down, and Jack got Etimis out into an empty street strip and Etimis looked around and shrugged. "No prison." Jack smirked and said, "Yeah. I never said a prison. And that's because you're not going to prison." Jack explained. "Oh really? Then where am I going?"
"The grave." Jack said and extended his whiplash sword and swerved and flung it through Etimis' jaw. Jack slowly walked back to the bus and got on and said, "It's finished." he sighed, relieved. "Etimis is dead." he finished. "Well, then he really isn't going anywhere where he can escape." Jodake said. "That's for sure." Tommy said. "Okay, where to know, Jack?" Bobby asked. "Home. And I have a feeling we're going to be there for a while." Two days later, the team turned on the TV and the reported said, "Officials have identified Etimis Draconian, a former news reporter, dead in a street strip just outside of town. Medical examiners say something was lodged through his jaw, possibly a sharp object." Jack turned it off and said, "And good riddance." Jodake went to Amy's quarters and sat down with her. "Hey. I uh, realized how happy everyone else is. Asakas getting out there with us, she's okay. So, I realized everyone but me is happy." Jodake explained. "Jodake, why wouldn't you be happy?" Amy asked him. "Because, I never got around to ask you something very important." Jodake said getting something out of his pocket. "Amy, will you marry me?" Jodake asked. Amy laughed and started crying and said, "Jodake, of course I will!!" Amy said laughing and crying. They then kissed and went to tell the others. "Hey guys, guess who's getting married?!" Jodake asked loudly and pointed at himself and Amy. "Oh my god!!!" Jack yelled. "Ah, you lucky ass!" Arthur proclaimed. "Congrats!" Karen said holding Jack's hand. "Aww, dude, nice!" Bo said. "I knew it." Gearhead said smiling and shaking his head. "You'll do great together, guys!" Tommy said. Brook, Daniel and Bobby clapped joined by the rest of everybody. Asaka walked out, not saying a word. A couple of hours passed, and Jack said, "Hey, where's Asaka?" and went to find her. He went into her quarters and saw a note. It read,
"Jack and Crazys, It is with great regret that I'm leaving. I'll be back to visit, time to time. But, seeing Amy and Jodake, I realized that could have been me and Katon. And if I stay, I feel like everything that was and could have been, will all come to me. I'm going to live my life not regretting and looking back, but ahead. I just want a normal life. That's all I ask of all of you. Goodbye, and best wishes as Katon said in my letter." - Asaka
"Well, you too." Jack said frowning and folding the paper. "Guys, Asakas left the team, but I say family." Jack informed everyone. "I think the best thing is for us to let her and give her her space." Jack said. "Too right, mate." Arthur said nodding. "Can't blame her." Bo said. "For sure." said Gearhead going along with what Bo said. "It's because we got engaged, right?" Jodake asked. "One reason." Jack told him. "Anyway, what're we doing?! She said she'll be back to visit so, let's celebrate another hard won victory!" Jack cheerfully said. "Yeah!!!" everyone else replied. So, they all had lunch and had a great time. Jack went to the wall of the bus and taped up a picture of the team with Katon in the middle and drew on it the word, "Remember." Jack sighed and said, "I always will. God rest, Katon."
