150 years ago, 3 witch covens known as the Crescents, the Novi, and the Plena, came together and formed the Lunas tribe. Each coven had a time to govern the tribe, when their phase of the moon was up in the sky. Of course, the Crescents ruled mostly, seeing as how there were many crescents in a month. The Novi, which means 'new' in Latin, ruled once a month when the moon was not in the sky, signaling the new moon. The Plena, which means 'full moon' in Latin, ruled over the land when there was a full moon. During the times of a gibbous or half moon, the tribe split and the covens governed themselves.

Each coven had a crystal skull, broken apart and given to the six representatives in each tribe, showing not only staus but power as well. The stones soon bonded to the families; the power each possesed and the emotions that made them tick. The stones turned the color that respresented the emotional trigger of the powers and on it the family crest was engraved naturally. For the Crescents, the Drake family was known to be the most powerful, the leaders. The Drakes were able to concentrate on any emotion to trigger their magic, whereas the other five had to focus on a single emotion they were restricted to. For example, the Smith family could only do magic when they thought about a moment that, or were experiencing, was sorrowful and they, along with the other families, learned to control their emotions, which were heightened due to the magic and even more so with the crystals.

10 years after they were formed , the tribe moved to New York because of the flat landscape and farmland, along with the privacy they could have to do their magic in peace. Once there, they found friendly borders, fellow witch communities such as theirs. Their peace was not long lasting as a family that dated back to the witch trials in Salem discovered the land and spread the word that there was new, farmable, and rich in minerals. The Hunter family, as they were known, soon set up cabins for them, other relatives, and friends. Establishing a town and being so vain to name it after themselves, they made a temporary peace with the tribes that had been their first but were now in 'their' town.

The Hunters were unaware of the magic his neighbors possesed and no one else did for a while. Not until one of the tribes felt too suppressed and started to practice openly, thinking the time for witch hunting was over. The Hunters heard the news immediately and, living up to their name, called for a hunting party, leading half the town to exterminate the threat. The witches, shocked that the town would come for them, put up little fight as they weren't expecting the attack. Deciding that it wasn't worth the risk, the Hunters went after two other tribes neighboring the Lunas and several other witch tribes that remained. Soon, an all out war was ensuing between the hunters and the witches, which lasted until 80 years ago, when all tribes but the Lunas were dead. A total of 5 tribes were wiped out during that time, two of them with two families, the other three tribes had 3 covens, much like the Lunas.

The Lunas were still strong, the three covens using their stones, which the other tribes didn't have. However, the hunters were still very strong because, as more people heard of the struggle, more came to aid the Hunters in battle. The Lunas and Hunters were unsure of which side would win so they asked the three leading family members from each coven to meet with the family in Town Hall. Once there, they both signed an agreement that stated that the three covens would split apart and move away from not only each other, but from the town. It then stated that the Hunters would not go after these covens as long as they abode by the terms. Both sides agreed and the Lunas left town, the Hunters leaving them alone, or so they thought...

We screamed in terror as the door flew open and a shadowy figure emerged from the doorway. It turned out to be a guy, his features somewhat deformed. He had deep orange hair and blue eyes, a huge hunch stood out on his back. He probably would've been tall if it hadn't been for the hunch but it caused him to lean forward quite a bit so he wasn't at his full height. I felt a feeling of both heat and cool running through my veins and I felt ready to attack but, when I looked over at Corinthia, she seemed in a daze.

"Wait!", Eric said, jumping in front of the strange-looking man, holding his arms out. "This is our friend, Quasi. Quasi, what happened out there? What was that noise, we're a bit on edge I'm sorry we almost jumped you."

"I'm sorry I disturbed you", he said, blocking his face with his hand, "I-I dropped some supplies in the driveway and I'm really sorry." He looked at me when he said sorry the second time, like I would get mad at him for dropping supplies I didn't even know about.

"It's okay Quasi", Eric says, sitting down at the table again. "Now, where were we?" He says, starting to explain to us the history of our tribe....
