Chapter 1

Mike wheelers P.O.V

I was eating dinner with my family. I loved my family but they were annoying at times. Especially Richie.

"So mike, Richie what did you do in school today?" My dad asked not looking up from his food. Me and Richie looked at each other with a "oh shit" look. We had actually skipped school today along with Stan, Bill
, Bev, Dustin, Eddie, Lucas, will, Ben, and Mike Hanlon. (I used his last name because there are two mikes and yeah) It wasn't like us to skip school. Well Richie would skip school, but we did it to all look for eleven.

"Well?" My mom questioned. I was about to speak up but Richie beat me too it.

"Nothing special." He said. Everyone shared what they did today. Richie came up with a cover up for us. I didn't expect him to make a story for me. He looked at me with an "you owe me" look and I nodded.

"Well this is probably the first quiet dinner we have had." Nancy said.

"What do you mean?" Richie asked while he took his glasses of to clean them. Without glasses me and Richie looked alike. Besides the fact we dressed differently.

"You and mike haven't picked a fight yet." She said

"We're in a good mood I guess." I said. Once we all finished dinner we went upstairs to get ready for bed. Once ready we hoped into bed. I tried to fall asleep. I couldn't. Something told me richie couldn't sleep ether. 

"Mike?" Richie asked breaking the silence.

"What's up?" I asked.

"I hope we find eleven." He said I was shocked. He never really liked her but he was willing to look for her and he now hope we get her back. That got me thinking, richie has never had a girlfriend he has had girl crushes and ruined his chances with girls when he got perverted the only girls able to put up with that were Bev, max, and eleven, but something seemed off about that. He would also ask how Will and Eddie were doing. He talked about them constantly. I asked him about it last year and he didn't answer me instead he changed the subject.

"Hey Richard." I said I decided I was going to find out the answers I wanted. I looked at the clock it was 1:00 AM I didn't even know an hour went by.

"Yeah Michael?" He asked. I breathed not knowing how to react

"Why do you talk about Will and Eddie constantly after a fight you always make sure they are ok. Instead of checking on the girls first. why?" I asked. There was silence

"Mike close the door." He said as he got up pointing to the opened door. I closed the door. Then he walked over to the front of my bed and sat down. Then Motioned me to sit next to him. I sat next to him.

"I-i-i have s-s-som-something to t-t-tell you." He said. Right now he was stuttering worse than bill.

"You can tell me anything, I'll be there for you no matter what." I said comforting my little brother. He was 2 minuets younger but I felt the need to always be there for him.

"You can't tell anyone, not even a soul." He said

"I won't tell anyone unless your in danger." I said.

"Oh shit." He mumbled. I thought maybe he got a boner in school or he had gotten into a fight. I wasn't prepared for what he was about to say.

Richie's P.O.V

I decided I would tell my brother that I am bisexual. I have been bisexual for 4 years. Not many people I. Hawkins are accepting, there are many homophobes including my parents. Nancy is a supportive person but I felt I could not come out to her yet.

"I-i-I'm b-b-bi-bisex-bisexual" I said choking on my tears but being quiet so I didn't wake my parents up. Mike looked at me for a minute the first thought was maybe he didn't accept me.

"P-p-pl-pleas-please d-d-don't tell m-m-mom a-and dad." I said I was stuttering worse than bills. He looked at me and just hugged me.

"I accept you I won't tell mom or dad." He said after he pulled away.

"I love you mike." I said.

"I love you too dick." He said smiling then ruffling my hair.

"Just because my name is another name for dick doesn't mean you have to call me that." I said smiling.

"So, But one more question." He said

"What?" I asked I got scared again.

"Do you like Eddie?" He asked. I looked down. I liked Eddie but I also liked Will.

"I like E-Eddie -and W-will." I said he went silent. "I don't know what to do. When I meet them I felt butterflies in my stomach. And when they talk to me I become like Bill and stutter." I added before putting my face into my hands.

"Don't think about it now. You will figure out who you like more." He said. Patting my back trying to comfort me.

"But I also want to tell the others but I'm scared if they will hate me. What if they reacted horribly, what if they laugh at me and tell everyone, what if-" I started but i was cut of.

"First they won't care, and second I think we have other closeted people in our party. I don't know if that makes you feel better." He said.

"You promise not to tell anyone?" I asked

"Promise." He said.

"Pinky promise?" I asked. Even though we were 13 we acted 5 at times. He intertwined his pinky with mine.

"Promise, now lets get some sleep tomorrow we have to meet the others at the park." Mike said. I nodded and climbed into the top bunk.

"Night." I said

"Night." He replied and soon I heard him snore. I smiled thinking about how it went better than I thought.
