Chapter Five! :)

*Baylee's POV*

I wake up at 6:30. There is a huge dance tonight... I have no clue if I am gonna go. I decide to dress nice everyday. Today, I wore black skinny jeans and a blue tank top. I threw on my pink converse and wore my hair in a bun. I had just gotten my contacts and put those in. I had my protein shake and left.

As I got to school, I saw Connor. I got out and waved to him but he stopped me.

"Hey Connor!"

"Hey. I was wondering... will you be my date to the dance?"

"Sure..." I blushed and looked down. That's when he said.. "Uh oh"

"What?" I turned around to see a whole bunch of girls and his ex girlfriend running towards me. They looked angry.

I knew what was happening. I untied my hair and slung it around and threw my bag at Connor.

"Hold this."

I started running and hid behind the school. They found me. They ran up to me and tackled me. "S...STOP!" They kept punching me. Jacki punched me hard for the last time. That's when I blacked out. About 5 mins later I woke up and my head and eye was throbbing. I snuck in and went to the bathroom. My hair was a mess and I had a black eye. Ouch.

I grabbed my bag and searched for my hairspray, brush, hairband, and perfume.

I finally looked decent and went to class.  Which Connor was in.

Mr. Smith is really rude but he heard what happened so he didn't question me. I smiled and took my seat.

*RIIIIIIIINNNNNGGGGG*

I gathered my books and left. The rest of the day was pretty uneventful.
