MISSION OR FRIENDSHIP

     When I got to Chloe's house, she looked at me with confuse written all over her face and something else I couldn't decipher then she started bombarding me with questions about Rick. Unfortunately, the news that I was dating Rick spread fast. I groaned inside me and gave her an answer in a not so friendly I don't really care way. Then I told her Rick was coming to pick me up and that I was staying with him for the rest of the week. She looked at me as I just killed her.
       "Be careful char, I don't trust that guy, my instincts say he's bad and you're too young.
   Being sixteen is not young and I've done a lot of things that she wouldn't dream of doing.
       "Okay mum, now can I get something to eat I'm starving", I said then we went to the kitchen.
       It was seven pm when Rick came to pick me.
      " I'm sorry I'm late, I went to the headquarter", he said as I entered his car. It was so annoying that most people I knew were either her seventeen or eighteen and they treated me like a pet especially Rick.
     "I didn't ask now drive", he looked at me for some seconds and started the engine.
      I was not that bold actually I was kinda if embarrassed because of the while dating thing so who cares he's still an ass and now that were partners in this case I can do whatever I want.
       When we got to his house I was shocked it was huge not mansion like though but impressive. The living room was awesome I wish I was living here. He didn't even let me greet his parents he just dragged me upstairs to his room while shouting out" you guys she's here we are gonna do some work".
    I didn't even here reply."what's the rush partner",I said smirking.
      "Can't we just be civil around each other, I know I've been a horrible boss but we're working together so please", he told plainly while he took off his jacket. I bit my lip.
   "Okay,but I don't know much about you except your name and that you're a cranky boss who chose to destroy my life at a certain training camp."
      "Alright I'm sorry but I read your files and I just wanted to test how tough you were", he said sitting on his bed.
    "I still need to know about you", I said dragging a chair out of its position and sitting close to him.
       "Well let's see um.. I don't have a clean record either, I was in a gang at 15 so yah that's it"
      "I did a lot worse and I'm trying not to go back to that line but now I'm doing this stupid case with you"
    "I'm serious if I could take you off this case I would but since I can't I'm going yo make sure you're safe.
    I gave him a quizzical look and stared into his eyes for along time. There was some different in his gaze something I had not seen before.
  "So I'm going to get you something to eat my sister will take you around", he said getting up. I watched him leave the room, did he just soften me? That can't be possible can it? I mean really I was not a touchy feely girl, I had my insecurities but still. Chloe was right I really should stay clear of him.

I shouldn't have said that to her I'm so stupid the more I let her know the truth the more she gets in trouble and the more I get beaten up. Plus I don't want to sacrifice my parents life just because of a girl.

Hey my beautiful readers I'm sorry I couldn't update I had to enjoy my holiday and i lost my inspiration but I'm back now.
    This is my longest chapter for now and I'm gonna try to improve. Its so hard to type but I'll try my best.
