Beep! Beep! Beep!
I hear as my alarm goes off. I rush over to give my alarm clock a big smack on the head. I wonder how long I slept for. I look over to see my clock.
It reads 10:00, 2 hours after school started.
I rush to put my clothes on and go downstairs. I look at my watch, it reads 10:10 then I start to worry. I see my mom and my little brother in the kitchen eating breakfast. Furious, I asked:
"Why didn't you wake me up for school?"
"I'm sorry Joseph but I went to go wake you up but you were sleeping like an angel so I decided to let you sleep in." She said.
"Mom, I'm not your little kid anymore, I am in high school. Wait speaking of high school, I have a presentation in half an hour." I said.
If I do not present today, I will get a big fat zero on my presentation and I'll be kicked off the basketball team. I need to get there in time. I take a few pancakes on the go and rush to school.
I arrive at school at 10:25 just before the bell rings for the next period. I step into the class room like nothing happened. Then I see the principal waiting there, with her arms crossed.
