Miss Black

Meet the... what?

We arrived in the morning. They said that I am not meeting my father yet. I will meet him tomorrow. We're just going to sleep here tonight and then we are all going to my fathers house. I am.... I am surprised,shocked,curious,excited but ssoooo nervous. What if my parents don't like me. If they don't want me?
I was interrupted by Fred and Bill coming to sit next to me.
-We never got the chance to talk Ana. Tell us something about yourself.
-Well, where to start... I am 14 years old. I come from Croatia. I speak 4 languages. I used to help in my local kindergarden. I play guitar. Umm.... I play basketball...I think that's it.
-Wow. Impresing I must say
-Thanks Bill.
-Oh,you remembered my name!
-It's really not a problem.
-Hey we are going to the shop in "Alley". You want to come?
-Where is that?
-London! Magical! Come on,let's go, we are just going to change.
-Okay,I am already ready.

A few minutes after they were all standing outside,dressed as muggles. They looked so funny. Big pants,t-shirts and some really funny sandals. Who wears that anymore?

I was so impresed. We were walking around for hours, it's already night almost. I've been dragging George around because everybody else was very tired of walking. He was the only one who managed  with me. I had to walk into every shop that was out there. Everybody  else was bored. They sat down in some weird caffe bar. I can't remember it's name really.

-Oh,my what's this shop?
-It's wand shop.
-Can we go in? I won't buy anything, I just want to see.
-Yea,shure.

We walked in and I was so amazed but I can't buy my wand here,at least not yet.

-Ana! George! We have to go home!
           I heard Ron yelling while I was smiling brightly because all of the candy we have bought. (They accepted the muggle money too because they knew George and because it was my first time there)

-Did you like it Ana?
-Yes,it's awesome!
-I'm very glad to hear that.
          Said Arthur.

When we got back Lupin was waiting at the front door.
-Well hello there.
-Hi,Lupin.
-Did you have fun?
-Yes totaly.
-Well I have some news. We are leaving tomorrow morning. Dumbledore will be there too. He said he wanted to meet Ana personally. We will discuss everything tomorrow with him and Sirius. The day after tomorrow me and Ana will go and meet Bella. If you are alwright with that Ana?
-Yes,sure,I can't wait.

I was in the same room with Ginny and Hermione, and I have to say,they are pretty good company. Since 8 p.m we've been trying new clothes that we bought. (I found out James and Lilly were my godfather and godmother,but since they died Remus took their place)
It was a long night. I just couldn't sleep. I walked out on the balcony and sat there thinking about my past. I felt kind of weird. I can't explain it really.
-I see you are still up.
      I turned around and saw Lupin standing there. Then he walked over and sat next to me.
-Will they like me?
-Your parents?
-Mhm
- They will love you Ana. They love you.
-How do you know that?
-Ever since they anounced that you were missing,Sirius and Bella fell into deep depression. They lost their best friends too. Lilly and James. They fell apart. They couldn't look at each other without seeing you. I remember the day after you were gone,I walked in their house and Sirius wasn't him anymore. Bella was exausted,because they were about to send her to Azkaban, they tought that she killed you. But she didn't. She didn't let any stranger come near you. She would never. She is the same as Sirius. They all still wear black. They are still believeing that you are really dead. We haven't told either of them that you are here actually. We want it to be a surprise.
            He looked at me and smiled.
-What if they don't believe that I am their daughter?
-Ana,since when are you wearing that necklace?
-That's from them??
-Yep. They bought it for you when you were born. It's handmade. They will recognise you even without it. You have your mothers eyes,dark but with a bit of shine. But you have brown,straight hair. Hmm...
-It gets curly a bit when it's rainy.
        He starts laughing.
-Lupin?
-Yes,Ana?
-What will I wear tomorrow?
-Oh... I don't know really. Something polite,but not overly... You know you will meet your grandmothers portrait too.
-Meet the....what? How can I do that??
-Well here, at your actual home,portraits can move,speak,and stuff like that.
-Wow,that's so cool. You can make portrait of anybody and always talk to them.
-Something like that,yes.
          He smiled, and hugged me sideways.
-Well I should get going. We need to sleep.
-Totally,good night Remus
-Night,Ana.

I opened my eyes because somebody was talking next to me. My sleep was 2 hours long. How great.
-Ana,wake up,we need to get ready.
-Okay I'm coming.

Oh God,what should I wear?

You can't go wrong with black,can you?( didn't mean it as a pun😁, btw. that is not the necklace that they gave her)

-Ana,we're having a breakfast.
-I'm here.

They all looked at me, I supose because of my muggle clothes. I sat between Charlie and Ginny. We ate our eggs and some toast and we started carring our stuff to the car.

-You have a nice dress there.
-Oh thank you George.
-You even have GOLDEN sandals. Why can't I have golden sandals.
         Said Fred.
-Fred,they are not made out of real gold
-I know,but they look fancy
-Oh,God...

It took us just a little bit before we got there.
-Ana,we are not going in there with you now. We will come later. We want you to have time for yourselves.
-Okay,thank you.
        And then they disappeared.
        My heart was beating so hard I thought it will break. I breathed in deeply and walked up the staires. The house looked pretty old and brownish colour. I would paint it in... Beige,or grey maybe. Ana!
I knocked on the door,and I expected him to open the doors, but instead,when the doors opened a small.... creature opened the door.
-Umm.... hello. Can I find Mr. Sirius here?
      He looked at me suspiciously.
-And you are?
-I can't tell you that,yet.
-All right,I don't care anyways. But you can't steal anything. I can always see you.
-Okay. Can I come in now?
     He just disappeared.
-I guess I can.

I walked in a huge hallway. It was very dark,with a lot of paintings on the walls covered with dust. As I was walking I realised I don't really know where to go.

-Umm... Hello... Anybody home? .... Mr. Sirius?....
       Then I saw some light at the end of the hallway. I walked not so bravely. I got to the opened door and knocked on the door stool. There was a man in dark blue shirt in the corner looking through the window, his hair messy and his face pale. Once he heard my knock he turned around, obviusly surprised.

-Are you Mr. Sirius? Mr. Sirius Black?
-Yes,and who are you?
        His voice sounded so clear, and familiar.
-It might sound weird but... I am Ana. Ana Black. Your youngest and only child.

He looked at me with wide eyes.

-I have proof if you don't believe me.
          I quickly grabed my necklace and showed him. I even pulled out my birth certificate that Remus gave me.He was now standing in front of me.
-It's you.
         He wispered. He placed his hands gently on my head and looked deeply into my eyes.
-It's you! It's my Ana. It's my child. It's  my baby. My child. My small child. It's really you!
          He gave me a bone crushing hug while he held my head on his chest.
-How is it possible??
         He still held my arms as if he thought I would disappear and looked at my face as if he was reassuring  himself that it's  really me. He touched my diamond  like birthmark on my left cheek.
-It's really you. You are not leaving me anymore right?
       I smiled.
-No I am not. If you don't mind I would live here.
-Would I mind?! I never thought this would happen! I was living with the tought that you were dead! They told us so! Oh your mother will be so happy!
-Oh thank you so much!
-Come,sit down. I know that this is not a pretty house but what can we do now? I never thought that anybody would live here. Oh God, you are real.
-Yes I am. Fully. Now tell me something about yourself. I have found out I have a father just yesterday!
-Oh,well. Your father was a very good looking man,you know.....
