Chapter 16

Sophies pov.

I wake up really early,Harveys still fast asleep. I get up and get changed,I kiss Harveys head then run downstairs. I get some breakfast and by then it's 8:50 so I decide to chill for a while before leaving.

"baby"Harvey sits next to me.

"yes gorgeous?"I ask. He smiles at me and kisses my lips.

"I'll see you later,get Jack back. Good luck"he hugs me then heads back upstairs.

"I love you"I shout,we've never said I love you yet.

"I love you too"he turns around and smiles widely at me.

I put my shoes on and grab my jacket,I decide to leave at 9 because jacks mum never let's him stay in bed longer than that. She thinks staying in bed that long is lazy and not worth it.

I head out my door and walk to jacks house,when I walk upto it I get all these memories from when we were younger. Ive never missed one place more than jacks house,I wrote my first song in jacks house,Jack taught me guitar in this house,I spent most of my prom laid in bed with jack-in this house and most importantly this is the house of my best friend and the first guy I ever liked.

I knocked on the door and his sister opens it.

"Sophie?!"she hugs me.

"heyyyy Emily"I hug back.

"you here to see jack"

"yep"she let's me in,it's just the same as I remember.

"he doesn't seem happy,I tried to talk to him but he won't listen"

"that's why I'm here,to set things straight. Is he in his room?"

"yep"she smiles and walks to the kitchen.

I head to Jacks room.

"Jack?"I knock but walk in anyway.

"Sophie? Why are you here?"he looks at me for a split second then turns back to his phone.

"I came to talk to you"I sit on his bed.

"did the boys force you to?"he scoffs.

"no! Of course not"

"well,go on..."he puts his phone down and looks at me.

"I came to say sorry"

"sorry for what?"

"calling you my ex-best friend and what ever else I said"

"don't worry about it,I said stuff I regret as well"he sighs looking down.

"is that it?"

"what do you mean,is that it?"

"well I don't know,Jack talk. Was there something apart from me that you were running away from?"

"nope,just you"

"why?"I don't take what he said to heart.

"because I hurt you and hurting you hurt me"

"well you went 5 months without me"

"and that was the hardest 5 months of my life"

"but you chose to leave and not contact me"by now jack was sat cross legged right next to me. I sit up and face him,also crossing my legs.

"I know but I was scared,scared you hated me,scared I'd messed up and scared id lost you forever"his voice gets quieter and quieter.

"you'll never loose me,I promise"

"good"he leans in and kisses me,unvolenteraly I kiss back. He strokes my cheek and you put your hand through his hair.

The whole time your kissing all your mind is thinking about is Harvey. 'your cheating' 'you love Harvey' 'you love jack' 'but your in love with Harvey' 'your jacks best friend...Nothing more' 'you need to pull away' 'this is an amazing kiss'

"jack,stop"you say pulling away.

"I'm sorry,I'm a horrible person"

"no your not,I've always loved you and I always will but since meeting harvey my feelings for you have changed"

"I understand"he lays down on his side in bed and starts to cry.

You lay down with him and cuddle him.

"jack promise this will never break our friendship up"

"I promise"

"thank you"you kiss his cheek then stand up.

"pack"

"I'm gonna come home on Saturday,I've got a ticket"

"if you come now you will save your job,you come home Saturday and your done"you warn exactly what Blair warned.

"did Blair say that?"

"yep,he was going to fire you but I persuaded him to give you time so he did"

"Is anyone else here"

"Harvey..."

"of course he is,can you not tell him about the kiss till I'm nowhere near him"

"I will"I laugh but feel guilty.

Jack quickly packs his things then says bye to his family. We are gonna crash at mine then head home tomorrow.

When we arrive back Harvey is on the sofa watching a film. He sees me and Jack,gives us both a huge hug then kisses my lips passionatly. For the rest of the day we watch films and order food,we got an early night of 10:00pm ready for our flight tomorrow.
